Addiction treatment center

Hi went to White River Manor for the 21 day wellness programme and when I arrived I had exceeded my emotional limits, I was over whelmed and burnt out. They gave me a safe holding space and the tools to bring myself back to myself. When I left I felt empowered and motivated and ready to reclaim my life an my space. White River is an amazing space.I was not there for the rehab program but I can say from what I saw if you are looking for rehab this is probably the best South Africa has to offer.

PRC Recovery Center saved my life. PRC gave my parents their daughter back.The facility is great. The food is amazing(chef michael). The program is a road to self discovery. Recovery coaches&counsellors are well informed & know what they are doing. PRC is the place to be. WE DO RECOVER!

This place will help you whether you want it or need it . The facilities are not to the standards that you would want or expect. The program is hard and will break you and then build you up. The staff are good at what they do and they do what they do because it's their passion. The way things are done are extremely old fashioned but they work. Healing wings was the hardest thing I've done in my life but it sure has turn my whole life around.

I couldn't imagine an institution that could have provided me with a better shot at finding myself in sobriety and peace than Twin Rivers. The specific tailored mix of therapeutic modalities from the trendy to the tried and tested are masterfully choreograph by David and the team of health care professionals. Time and time again during my stay I would be marvelled by the genuine care and compassion of the staff to the point were I truly started to embrace the program they offer. The counselor that I had the privilege of working with will have a special place in my heart for years to come for showing me the unconditional compassion and enlightened guidance that he has.Thank you David for being the founder of the beautiful house of healing you called Twin Rivers!I'm giving out a five star here because if you are looking for help like I was then Twin Rivers should be at the top of the list

I came to PRC a wreck, a hollow shell of my former self, Through my time here the staff have helped me find myself and understand myself on a whole new level. I've come to understand the patterns in my life and have learnt drugs were only a symptom of my addiction and in the process have learnt to cope with it all. The overall environment is most relate-able to a large close family rather than a typical institution. The staff take a genuine personal interest into the lives of every individual and that of their families , going over and above the call of duty to help and fix all the damage done in active addiction while not only providing the emotional tools to cope with life but by also providing the opportunity to gain a qualification while in treatment, paving the way to a world of new possibilities. Overall I would like to just thank everyone at PRC for not only helping me restore myself but for giving me back my family.

My biggest issue in life can be said that I am highly adaptable and I try keep positive at all times.When I arrived at HW I had a broken leg (the left) - I went through 3 moon boots - the place was not equipped for people with broken limbs.I need to also mention at this point, that I had had cancer on and off for 16 years. Every task I did left me in excruciating pain on the left hand side of my coccyx. Everytime I asked for medication I was told I was med seeking. Eventually I didn't urinate for almost a month. The GP that saw me never came back with my blood results. To cut a long story short, I lost my left kidney to cancer while in HW.While your loved ones may need help with addiction, this place is not equipped for anyone with a chronic illness or comorbalities.I don't regret my time at HW, but be sure to be healthy before entering.

My son is there for the second time. The staff is great and positive. They are very sucsessfull. My son went back out off own will for second time. Most recommended rehab in Lowveld Mpumalanga.

Caring and supportive staff En has good communication with patient

My son Cameron is at WWW and Isobel and Dave Barber and the team have been absolutely amazing! Cameron is so comfortable and cared for and this gives me peace of mind knowing that he will overcome his addiction. Thank you WWW for your warmth and kindness and for being so supportive and caring.
