Freeman House

I was in total denial that I needed help when arriving here . Binge drinking , cannabis and being extremely overworked and stressed resulted in me finally hitting rock bottom. I was welcomed with open arms and dived into the program . After two weeks the penny dropped and started my road to recovery . Many of us suffer from trauma and turn to coping mechanisms.Freeman house treated me well and showed me a new way of life . I’m truly grateful and live a more balanced , calmer , healthy and honest life now . Thank you everyone at the house who were involved in my recovery ❤️

Freeman House was the second rehab I was booked into, and from the beginning my experience was vastly different to the other rehab I went to, or anything I'd heard about in the rooms and the Rehab community in general. Their multi pronged approach, constant attention to detail and concern for the patients meant that I could focus on my recovery, this is the first institution who's primary focus was to build you up, most of us are broken by the time we enter such institutions, it was refreshing to be an institution that builds you from the beginning and doesn't waste time first breaking you down or make you do unnecessary manual labour to teach" you a lesson. The facility was clean

Had the most wonderful experience whilst in treatment.I cannot thank the staff enough.If you want to get clean,there is no better place than Freeman House.I am from the UK.I was picked up from the airport and taken straight to the house.They cater for vegetarians,pescatarins and the food is well balanced and cooked to perfection.Thank you once again

I've been so afraid of going to a treatment centre for being an addicted for almost my whole life, and when finally accepting that I need help, I've been so grateful and thankful that I've ended up at Freeman Recovery House. I can recommend this facility to anyone who truly wants to get out of the grip of addiction and whose life is in chaos and unmanageability. We all sometimes need to reach out for some help and can't recover all by ourselves, and we do recover! I was openheartedly accepted at Freeman with lots of caringness and love starting from the the household and kitchen staff and the addiction counselors and psychiatrists right through to the medical docter and sisters and not to leave out the loveliest office staff and the owner Alan Freeman. Not only have I gained my sobriety, humanity, and freedom back but a life full of joy and my worthyness as a good and decent people of society with no more shame and guilt. At Freeman, I've started as a broken person and ended up being strong and confident again. Thankyou for everybody at Freeman Recovery House for your good service towards me. You've become like family, and I'm still sober and clean and going strong.

This is by far one rehab with a counselling psychologist team, addiction counsellor and a 12 step counsellor. This combination of help is world class. They ease you out of denial and challenge you. A holistic approach to addiction. I enjoyed my stay and the program continues as I am out of treatment. I would suggest everyone with the disease of addiction go to Freeman house. A special thank you to the teams in the rooms and in the house. It works if you work it!

Besides being in a lovely setting, there's a lot more to this place and I've been at others.What really stands out is the humanity, the care and interest in ones well being is clearly felt and appreciated, including an amazing team of counselors and physiologists, one really gets to work on themselves in an honest and functional way.Would highly recommend this place to anyone who's looking to face their fears and wants to learn to start living a better life for themselves.

I am so grateful for my experience at Freeman House. From the moment I arrived the staff were all very professional and welcoming. The house is well maintained and the location is so serene making a very safe and healing environment. The therapeutic program includes both group and individual sessions as well as going to NA and AA meetings which offers a great way to integrate into meetings when you leave. I really enjoyed the well equipped gym, yoga sessions and weekly outings. I would highly recommend this treatment centre.
