The dentists receptionist was very helpful. Dr. Rossouw (Dentist) was also great. She explained in detail what was wrong with my teeth. Their pricing is also reasonable.

“To err is human...”, yet to accept our mistakes and offer an apology is a daunting task for many of us and Dr Amso was gracious enough to give me a call this morning and to let us have a chat about it and at times it becomes all the way more complicated when we talk about mistakes made in professional spaces but also gives you a broader understanding of how to better deal with situations.One also needs to understand when and how to apologize at work and I would also like to send my apologies to you and your practice and thank you for your kindness.Thank you for the care to check in on your time off. It was highly appreciated.

I have recently had 2 cataract operations here. The staff and matron were extremely professional and friendly.

New Receptionist (Prinita) is amazing - professional, friendly and reliable.

My mother was transferred on Saturday. No matron or physio in and attendance so all the good work done by the professionals at Union Hospital is now out the window. I asked to have a manager contact me, and as expected, nobody has bothered. They don't provide the patients with proper nourishment. Supper is served cold at 17h20 and the patient's next meal is at 08h:20 (a 15 hour period between meals). Meals completely exclude juice, bread/biscuit bread, yoghurt. My mother now has diarrhea but the staff tell me they don't have anything to give her. They also haven't been giving her, her chronic medication and cannot give me an explanation. They also won't give nappies when the medical aid has authorized this. You get conflicting reports - depending on which staff member you ask, you get a different answer... and the list goes on. I now understand why they have chosen the highly impractical visiting hours they have! I shudder to think what goes on there...I would advise anyone who is told that this place is marvelous (as I was led to believe), to rethink their decision very carefully. I certainly would not recommend them by a long shot...

Dr Mohabir takes all the jumble inside your head and helps you clear your mind to create a better path going forward. She's helped me through the lowest, most challenging times, with patience and laughter. I always feel more confident after a session!
