Rehabilitation center

Hi went to White River Manor for the 21 day wellness programme and when I arrived I had exceeded my emotional limits, I was over whelmed and burnt out. They gave me a safe holding space and the tools to bring myself back to myself. When I left I felt empowered and motivated and ready to reclaim my life an my space. White River is an amazing space.I was not there for the rehab program but I can say from what I saw if you are looking for rehab this is probably the best South Africa has to offer.

My mother was transferred on Saturday. No matron or physio in and attendance so all the good work done by the professionals at Union Hospital is now out the window. I asked to have a manager contact me, and as expected, nobody has bothered. They don't provide the patients with proper nourishment. Supper is served cold at 17h20 and the patient's next meal is at 08h:20 (a 15 hour period between meals). Meals completely exclude juice, bread/biscuit bread, yoghurt. My mother now has diarrhea but the staff tell me they don't have anything to give her. They also haven't been giving her, her chronic medication and cannot give me an explanation. They also won't give nappies when the medical aid has authorized this. You get conflicting reports - depending on which staff member you ask, you get a different answer... and the list goes on. I now understand why they have chosen the highly impractical visiting hours they have! I shudder to think what goes on there...I would advise anyone who is told that this place is marvelous (as I was led to believe), to rethink their decision very carefully. I certainly would not recommend them by a long shot...

I saw Avinesh regarding complex pain in my lower legs that prevented me from running. We worked through the issues in a session. He provided me with a rehabilitation program monitored through an app and updated these weekly. We are still currently working together and as a athlete, his attention to detail, knowledge and energy are much appreciated. I can highly recommend his services.

PRC Recovery Center saved my life. PRC gave my parents their daughter back.The facility is great. The food is amazing(chef michael). The program is a road to self discovery. Recovery coaches&counsellors are well informed & know what they are doing. PRC is the place to be. WE DO RECOVER!

This place will help you whether you want it or need it . The facilities are not to the standards that you would want or expect. The program is hard and will break you and then build you up. The staff are good at what they do and they do what they do because it's their passion. The way things are done are extremely old fashioned but they work. Healing wings was the hardest thing I've done in my life but it sure has turn my whole life around.

They are a very friendly and effective team. Villene could pinpoint my problem area immediately. Her work on my neck helped a lot.She truly is a miracle worker.

What a wonderful facility, for post surgery rehabilitation patients who need medical care. Truly the best place to recover after any operation with the best physicians, specialist, nurses, physiotherapist and occupational therapist. So grateful for the excellent service, therapy, care and professionalism of staff. Thanks for everyone help and care to a full recovery, definitely recommend this to all orthopedic patients.

My mom was in Spescare Blouberg post her knee replacement for 13 days. The staff and doctors and therapists treating her was absolutely wonderful and caring! So very thankful for her recovery and this great experience. Highly recommend

Just want to thank the personnel at Lynnmed Clinic for making my grandmother's last days as comfortable as possible. You were there to take her in when no one else wanted to take her from the hospital. Till the very end you've been compassionate and caring keeping us upto date every day on her progress. Thank you
