Vegetarian restaurant

Nice vegan cafe in Durban North. The menu can be hard to decipher with all the 'vacon' and 'vish' options lol. The food however was very good and the staff were friendly. I would visit again.

Not a vegan, so please take head if your not and if your a vegan another beautiful place to have added to the list of vegan spotsFor me it's all about the experience here the food was brilliant in presentation but failed to deliver in Terms of my palette taste ,,now I have been to vegan places and the food normally and the taste was palatable just barely ,so for the food side as a omnivore it's a no from me been to others where you are actually fooled into thinking it's not vegan food like the Mandela Cafe just from the taste and textures ,staff was friendly and helpful, a very lovely experience to say in the leastWould recommend as someone not useto the vegan way that if a non vegan walks in have something that has a good flavour profile , that helps the transition from the normService and atmosphere was wonderful felt very fitting for the blind date ,would highly recommend the place seems lovely

An relaxing oasis, so peaceful. Everyone is exceptionally friendly and service orientated, without getting in the way. Quietly efficient and friendly. Food was outstanding, but don't miss the afternoon tea, the eats are amazing

The food here is really delicious and fresh, the service is great too. You van also call beforehand to place your order so you don't have to wait. Parking is roadside. Prices are great too

So after many visits to this store (wanting Nuts Chutney and a Sugar Beans Bunny Chow which are always out of stock), I finally gave in and decided to try something else at their store.I ordered a Quarter Broad (Butter) Beans Bunny Chow for a change.Wow, was I surprised after all that I have heard about this store.The food was literally bland, with no taste to it (I wonder if they even use any spices in their curries).With this disappointment, I will never be back to this store.Normally, I do say that the quality of food must be balanced with the service, but even with the excellent service, it couldn't save the really dismal food I had.It may be to the liking to their 100s of other happy customers, but this one customer was not happy with the meal.PS: The one star was for the service only, not for the food.

I couldn't rate this place more highly. Service was incredibly friendly (and efficient). Food was exceptionally tasty. We had the vegan scrambled and then came back for seconds the following day. So tasty. It's nice to have the gallery there too, for a post-meal meander

Can't believe kara nichha's can just increase prices because it's our fasting time...absolutely ridiculous.I was charged R13.50 for a special sandwich.And what's even worse is that they literally put only 4 chips in the sandwich....they never use to be this way,service and quality has dropped badly...shame on you kara Nichha's raisethorpe.one of the 1st that ever opened up

Best Indian restaurant I’ve eaten in, the lady calls me by name each time I go there, I love their chicken bunny chow and I’m still to try their roti with curry.Thank you Amma Spice for your excellent food & service, much love from Alan.
