Indian restaurant

This is the third time we visited this specific Banjaara after discovering it a few weeks ago. The food is delicious and very fresh. We love the tasty food, the clean environment and friendly staff. They serve generous portions and it is definitely value for money…an added benefit they are even open on Sunday evenings. Highly recommended!

ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC , phone in to place my order , they tell me 40 min waiting times , get there 45 minutes later and still have to wait 15 min for my food.

Had the most amazing experience with the two nurses, Siphesihle and Sanele if I'm not mistaken. They know how to take care of their patients, they are committed in what they do, they are friendly and helpful. They both deserve an employee of the month. Thank you

Lamb bunny's curry was overcooked or seemed as old curry reheated.Veg Soya burger patty was dry as if it were deep fried till crisp.Bombay Crush is tasteless served in a Martini glass for R35.00..... what a rip off.The free parking is a bluff, unless you ask them, then you get a R5.00 in return....

Not a big curry person but good food.

Ordered the half chicken bunny chow. The gravy was nice but the filling was a complete rip off. Large pieces of potato and very little chicken.Avoid.

We ordered 4 lamb bunny chows, separate from the bread so that it does not get soggy, and a butter chicken curry. Wow, this has to be the worst food I have ever tasted. The bunny chow was just water, with no sauce. Seems like they tried to use Knorr stock cubes to thicken their sauce. The butter chicken curry looked like baby food and it actually split, giving the food a sour taste. My 10 year old also asked why this sour butter chicken had no curry in. Seems you need to ask for curry in your butter chicken curry.When we returned to the shop to raise our concern about the food quality in a friendly manner, we were met by the owner, attacking us from the onset. First, it was our fault that the food was watery because we ordered it separated from the bread. Just imaging how soggy the bread would have been if they put that watery mess inside? Seems like the curry hasn't recovered from the floods in April. The owners response to the butter chicken curry is that there is absolutely nothing wrong with it, as she just made it now. Doesn't matter when it was made, it would still taste horrible. Just the manner in which she shouted at us because we returned the food shows how important customers are in her life.I'm sure the owner will respond to this review in her condescending manner that she always do, telling me to go get a covid test or that I am not Indian so I don't know anything about Indian food. Best chicken tikka in Johannesburg. We only eat here or either from the home address as well.

Excellent service, we had the most friendly and attentive waiter service our table.Our dishes were outstanding, burst of flavour every bite, and the best naan bread in Cape Town.We had an amazing time, will definitely be visiting again.
