Namastat Lodge by Country Hotels
Braai area and ablution not cleaned. Had to phone for toilet paper. Dustbins not emptied. Somebody damaged the electric gate. Reception told us that it was not their problem. Had to move the gate which was very heavy ourselves.

What an amazing place. If you looking for a place to relax and recharge, you need to look no further. The unit was clean with breathe taking views and great amenities. Darlene was the most amazing host, extremely helpful and a good soul. Definitely worth the visit.

Well what can I say other than I WILL be back. Such a tranquil beautiful setting. Private hot springs and pool available for use. The steam shower in our room was so relaxing. We will be back again. Host Darlene was a treasure ❤️

Orange River Rafting Lodge by Country Hotels
Small but beautifully laid out stands were available for camping. Each stand was private and had electricity and water as well as a basin to do your dishes. Ablutions are cleaned daily and also have hot water. Stands are on grass and most have a view over the Oranje as well as easy access to it. A well laid out bar, friendly staff and a clean pool rounds this jewel off as well as being extremely affordable. I can highly recommend this place and hope to someday return and stay a little longer

Brenton On Sea Cottages
Beautiful place to be if you are looking for a wave of peace & tranquillity.The ladies at the reception were SUPER Friendly, they gave us amazing service. Super clean cottages & cleaning services were amazing too. Each morning they would come and clean the cottage, which makes life easier if you are on a vacation & you just want to relax. Breath-taking view of the sea and 2 minutes walk to the beach....and off course the dramatic sunsets every evening :)Well-deserved 5 stars :)

Rondeberg Holiday Resort
If like me you are not a regular camper, then try their luxury camp sites. It has a bedroom with a double bed and 2 singles, as well as a kitchenette and your own bathroom. Lovely to float on the dam or just to relax around a fire.
