I couldn't rate this place more highly. Service was incredibly friendly (and efficient). Food was exceptionally tasty. We had the vegan scrambled and then came back for seconds the following day. So tasty. It's nice to have the gallery there too, for a post-meal meander

Our little one enjoyed playing under the tree as we waited for a table, giving me a chance to peruse the gallery while my husband watched her. They had unfortunately run out of their amazing croissants but the owner managed to rustle up some of their cruffins" - croissants in muffin form. I had the most delicious breakfast and the best cup of coffee while everyone else had their 100% organic naartjie juice which was simply delicious"

Lovely atmosphere, good coffee, excellent croissant. Unfortunately, service was sub-standard: used cups and plates were left on the table, our second round of coffees was forgotten, and the waiter was the opposite of helpful and attentive - I had to get up and find her every time. Pity, for it was otherwise a pleasant visit.

The sit-down area at the back of the cafe provides even more options, all made fresh to perfection.While the vegan options at Gallery Cafe and Deli are truly delightful, it's important to note that the food appeals to everyone. In fact, our entire group loved the food so much that we ended up going back every single morning during our time in the area. Great deli. It is vegan friendly. Went there twice during my two day stay in Hermanus. Had oat milk latte and mushroom and Ava on sourdough. Also had a vegan croissant. There were other good vegan options as well like a muesli breakfast bowl with fruit and coconut milk. The owner popped around and was very friendly as were the staff. Will definitely go again when I'm next in Hermanus.

This place is wonderful! Super sweet staff. Loads of vegetarian options. Amazing falafel avo haloumi salad. Coffee is often too sweet/floral in SA for our liking, but the coffee here is grrrreat!! Highly recommend

We'll be back! Early morning excellent croissants and coffee. Belgian chocolate, cheese and marmite... Any which way you'll be amazed. Fresh bakes awesome tastes!
