Cons - slow service, found two hairs in the rice, ran out of lamb so served us the fat and bones instead of pre warning usPros - tasty food, lovely manager, did not charge us for the dishes with the cons mentioned aboveSummary - I do not recommend if you are in a rush or do not like hairy food

What a nice experience! The food made me feel I was in Mozambique again. The owners were friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Very accommodating. Service was excellent. Topnotch! Try the Irish Coffee - they know how to do it right.

Visit today for the first time for lunch. Service was friendly and efficient. Perhaps Plett's food wasn't as far behind the cities as I thought?I had African seafood pilaf (R189) and partner had Baby chicken (R169).My african pilaf was tasty with good aromatic flavours, although nothing special, not a lot of food - was still hungry after that. The baby chicken was nice, although a bit dry throughout with burnt skin. A bit disappointed. Will give them another chance.., but not holding my breath...

We had a great lunch here together with friends from the US and Finland. Abigail made it very fun for the kids to make their own burgers and my favorite is still pap infused with truffle oil. It doesn't get much better. Don't miss out when visiting Cape Town. Combine with cycling tour.

It was great for our first time trying Somalian cuisine. We ordered iskukaris (briyani) beef, maraq ari (soup) that served with chapaati or rice (we chose chapaati) samosa. The portion of main meals was generous, even the chapaati was served for 2 persons. Food were tasty! Especially maraq ari. Definitely will come back for trying other menus. The price is worth value for money.
