An relaxing oasis, so peaceful. Everyone is exceptionally friendly and service orientated, without getting in the way. Quietly efficient and friendly. Food was outstanding, but don't miss the afternoon tea, the eats are amazing

I spend my 30th birthday experiencing their 5 course meal and wine tasting. It’s honestly breath taking. The service, the hospitality and the atmosphere was iconic. Everything was well executed. The host Lauren was also exceptional and very welcoming. I would highly recommend this place. It was definitely a night to remember.

Had a great stay at De Oude Kraal for my birthday weekend. The spa is beautiful and has lots of facilities. The massage could've been a bit more technical but overall a good experience. We stayed in room 8. It was large and comfortable with a lot of attention to detail even including things like an iron, hairdryer, umbrella, etc. The shop has great variety including candles and diffusers that smell great. Staff are extremely friendly and very attentive to try and ensure you have a great time. The rain messed up both the safari and sundowner we were supposed to have. We had a picnic the first night for 2 which could easily serve 4 people, it was amazing. We had a 5-course meal the second night which was also great at the time but both me and my partner ended up with something that could be food poisoning, so we had a terrible end to the weekend. We felt so awful when we booked out we even forgot to give back the key and just settled our account. They weren't too upset about the key like other places normally are, they just asked politely that we find a way to get it back to them.

The furniture that was used in the venue, was not quite 5 star worthy. Overall my family and I had a great experience, it was quiet.

Such a gem in the Free State. Modern facilities and so beautiful! The road to the venue is mostly no tarred, with potholes. We attended a wedding here and it was beautiful! The food was amazing. The team at Feast really know how to host a party and cater. Beautiful!

What a amazing experience from the lady at the checking in desk to the tour and the dining everyone is so efficient and welcoming and accommodating. The food is excellent and the all round service is 5 star. What a pleasure and I would recommend anyone to visit here any day.

Wow, this place in an absolute gem. From the Spa to the 5 course meal and the accommodation, it was a wonderful experience. Worth every cent and more. We will definitely be back.

They excel in their variety of serving options, from never seen Salads to grilling your meat just after you made your pick. The venue is situated +-50 km from BFN with panoramic views of the Free State landscape. Go spoil yourself at the Spa or book a room for a weekend away. Drink a cup (or 2) of freshly brewed coffee on their stoep, while embracing the beautiful sound of unspoiled nature around you.

Great rooms, beautiful location, lovely afternoon tea, excellent food.Kids had a great time on an outride and the little ones also loved their riding lesson". Can recommend a game drive for the sunset views.Other activities include shooting and clay pigeon shooting."

The rooms are beautifully decorated and spacious although they could be cleaner. We enjoyed the food. There is some gravel driving to get to the venue. Unfortunately for us it was raining the day we left so driving back on the gravel was very slippery. I'd say it would work well if you drive off road vehicle. Place has horses, kids enjoyed that.
