Poor patient care and rude staff at the Constantiaberg Mediclinic!

Having e mailed on a Sunday for an emergency mammogram, I was contacted at 7:10am on Monday morning. I arrived 20 minutes later. I received the most phenomenal professional service, and was seen immediately. They have the most state of the art equipment. The place is modern and spotlessly clean. A pleasure to go to such a top notch establishment.

I have experienced a very long waiting time of more than 1hour and 15 minutes.

What an amazing experience, thank you Pam's, patience and kindness made the MRI so much easier. Pam made sure everystep of the way I was ok, she played music and was so reassuring. I went for my very first mammogram. From start to finish the staff were friendly and efficient and made me feel totally at ease. Left feeling exhilarated. Well done.

Appointments were moved last minute. When arrived after having spoken to them numerous times they said ultrasound was not possible without doctors note which they had not checked or informed us of in advance. Living out of the country and planning appointments for the short period in SA meant we were unable to get an important health scan done. They were not apologetic at all and watched how rude one of the receptionists was to an older patient needing assistance. Understand they are busy but for people worried about health concerns the way they deal with patients from this one experience is disappointing.

The radiographers here are lovely, but the admin staff make dealing with this practice a complete nightmare. After several days of asking for a statement to be emailed to me, I eventually had to go there in person and sit in the waiting room until they produced a statement so I could claim from my medical aid. Yesterday I asked them to send a link so I can share my MRI with a new doctor I've been referred to, and again, this seems to be too difficult for them. It's baffling, honestly.
