I absolutely love the cosy atmosphere that goes well with the delicious food. The price is well worth the portion size and taste of food! Would recommend to anyone looking for a new and tasty experience

As so many point out, this is a hidden gem. The food is brilliant - we had sushi and udon. The sushi was fresh, lovely combinations, and the rice was perfect. I'm surprised to see some negative comments about the service: our server, Stephen, was wonderful. He was knowledgeable about the wine available and the food, and was so genuine and enthusiastic.Top top notch place! I will definitely be back.

The sushi is INSANE and the service was personable and helpful. Our waiter recommended the Combo 1 and I’m glad he did because it slapped. Only reason it’s not a 5 is because of the unfortunate location being right next to a sports bar with a bunch of rowdy blokes watching the game (if one is on). I’m sure it’s more chilled in the daytime though.

I had a wonderful evening at this restaurant. The service was a little hit and miss, but the food and variety was exceptional. The international beers are fairly overpriced unfortunately. The sushi was some of the best I’ve ever had.

Hidden in an alley with the most unexpected beautiful greenery.The food was flavourful & the service fairly good. I came across this place on the blog listing the best dumplings in CT & they were good but not exceptional.I really enjoyed the flavour sensations in the ice cream trio. Green matcha & red bean paste was my favourite. The wasabi ice cream was surprisingly good as well.

Super enjoyable experience. Nice atmosphere. Good food. Especially the Shoyu beef ramen. Friendly staff.

Mediocre Japanese food. Sushi is above average. This place seems to cater mainly to take away orders. Server was friendly. Rice for the katsudon was mushy and not edible. Gyoza was burnt on one side and super dry inside.

Hello there,I have provided stars for the place but, now I want to write about it. They have a lunch box which kinda includes many of their specialties. Which I do suggest you going for.This is a nice chilled place, Japanese vibe. Good environment to chill, lunch or dinner.I hope you enjoy it there

Pretty standard Japanese restaurant that offers a variety of different Japanese dishes from sushi to tempura to noodles to dons.There's a decent variety of sushi on offer, and a few choices of Japanese drinks including beers, sake and umeshu (although they didn't offer the plum unfortunately).Good for a Japanese food fix in Cape Town.
