Our fridge broke unexpectedly last week (I suspect because of all the loadshedding) ~ it was a huge problem, because the fridge and freezer was stocked full for the holidays, and we had nowhere to go with it all. We contacted Tygerberg Home Appliances, and they came out on the same day. They gave us fabulous service, and sorted the problem out in a jiffy! Also note that they are extremely reasonably priced !Thank you kindly, from a very satisfied & happy client!!!

Being out of town my Personal Assistant arranged a call out for our well looked after Speed Queen washing machine at home. Before the rinse cycle, it would stop. My PA was presented with a written quote for R7553.50 (Seven Thousand Five Hundred, Fifty Three Rand and Fifty Cents) and I had to pay a R350 call-out fee.I immediately knew something was highly irregular and suspicious and instructed my PA not to authorize repairs.On my return the next day, I found that my domestic worker simply forgot to open the cold water tap, hence the machine coming to a halt at rinse mode. We have used the washing machine, which is in a perfect condition, a few times after opening the cold water and it runs perfectly.I contacted the owner who personally came out and did the assessment and quote. He came up with BS explanations as to why he quoted so much. This business cannot be trusted. I was almost taken for a R7500 ride. His weak defense that he made a ‘mistake’ is totally and utterly untrue and unacceptable.

What amazing and rare service! SAMSUNG ought to consider appointing them - they would do themselves some justice and make them very proud!! Thank you Stefan to the power of two! If I could have given you more stars, I would have!
