Ocean Basket Sea Point
Great honest sea food, prepared fresh & served promptly. Their Fish & Chips deserves to be famous as (when fried especially) is delicious … and even better when served with a mix of their rice and grilled vegetables. Also great value for money! We also had their rice “poké” bowl and it was a generous portion and the salmon was lovely & fresh. Finished off with the baked yoghurt cheesecake which was the perfect end to an excellent meal.

Several encounters here , staff is mildly helpful , the pub side is nothing to rave about, the music is not very inviting either, the food is good- can be improved though. I suppose if you’re looking for a place to drink your beer and catch up with friends it’s a good place to go .

Such a great little restaurant! The service is super quick! The meal was fresh and I was pleasantly surprised when the waitress gave me an additional portion of calamari as part of a buy one get one free deal. We were in and out in 30 minutes!

Excellent food in a great setting with an unbelievable view of the ocean. The food was very good, better than I was expecting. The service was also very good. It is quite an expensive restaurant but it is worth it based on the experience.

Awesome view of the ocean. They have a small but awesome play area for the kids. The google web page info says takeaway but when we got there we were told they dont do take away, so we had to eat in. I asked for 1 fanta and 2 glasses for my kids to share a drink and we were told that we would be charged R5 for the extra glass. Food was good.

After my complaint on my previous review, they gave me a free replacement meal.- Original Review: 1/5 -Bought one of their specials - crunchy hake, chips, onion rings and coleslaw. I didn't receive any coleslaw.How hard can it be to get a customer's order correct? Your only job is to take an order and make sure it is correct before handing to the customer.

Quality of food was bad. Had to remove the shells from the fried prawns inside the wrap before I could actually eat the wrap. Other food was not fresh either. Re-consider before spending your money here.
