Schoemansville Resort

Westvaal Holiday Resort
On their website they advertise Quad bike tracks. So drove all the way from joburg with my quad bikes only to find the track is closed and they are no longer doing it. What a waste of time and money. Please remove the Quadbike tracks from your website if you are no longer doing it

Dullstroom on the Dam
Visited Sessions Music Lounge and enjoyed a very good performance, we joined the horseback riding which was a lot of fun! We also opted to take the Steenkampsberg Hiking trail to the top which was very enjoyable. It took about 1 hour to get to the top and back down!

Kommandonek harties
The kommandoek Harties is a wonderful fishing camp on the water banks. Kommandoek has braai facilities , well maintained toilets and separate showers on site. The facility charges entrance per person as well as per car into the resort which is right behind the picnic site where the ships dock.

Oban Historical Guest Farm
Stayed in a nice little cottage that was pet friendly with a small fenced garden. We were greeted with some historic information about the farm. Gardens are beautifully kept. Asome views and great to stroll around on the farm. Homely cooked meals are available. Ideal place and venue for group bookings such as weekend retreats, craft workshops, yoga classes etc. The tranquility and peace of mind is balsam to the soul. The farm recently got new owners that have great visions for this gem.
