Serviced accommodation

The place is not safe at all. Every night a lot of hookers gather across the street and this attracts a lot of unwanted people. Thre is a gate in front but it is 1 meter high and you can simply push it open. There is no fencing around the place as well. We got numerous guys jumping over the wall pretending to look for a place to stay...but they are looking for anything they can take. It is not safe at all and I barely slept at night when I was there. You can simply walk from the street and knock on my door. Which also happened by they way...people would knock on your door late at night searching for a place to stay. The room itself is very modern with dstv and a big TV the room area is also very big which is nice.

Received a very warm welcome from the host after a long day on the road (on bikes). The host had already booked us a table for dinner at the Red Plate" in town. Rooms are exceptional and very well appointed with everything thought of. Breakfast was provided in the Bar Fridge which helped with our early departure. Close enough to town to walk down the road (and back) for dinner. Lovely views in the morning across the valley up the pass."

Checked out 5 hours after checking in.. the bed was rock solid, the elevator is extremely loud and the noise from outside is ridiculous.. you’d think they would put soundproof windows. there was no way we would be able to sleep there. we went down to check out around 7pm and told them it is way too loud etc and we were going to another hotel and she replied okay no worries and took the keys, sounds like it’s a consistent complaint as they did not seem phased or try to resolve the issues

Awesome location, warm welcoming owner and staff. Me and my wife went there for our hunnymoon and I don't regret it at all as there is many awesome locations also around it but the resort is also very enjoyable and the breakfast each morning is simply wonderful and the only reason they don't get a full 5 stars for locations is only due to the road there. Well unless u take the highway that has high toll prices but yes they can't control this and the reason for the rating is only up inform all who read this. WE WILL COME AGAIN BEACH ISLAND!! bless u guys and service staff your a bunch of awesome people!! May u grow and become even better in the future. God bless!

This place is so beautiful and the Staff are so accommodating. Food is fantastic rooms are by far the best I've stayed in and I travel bi weekly for work. Very impressed. Will definitely come back. Thank you Odyssey for your fantastic service

Security is excellent, beautiful place, would go again

We (couple) had a great expereince at the lodge! Stunning view from the suite! Very comfy and excellent room, overall great service and suave manner. Breakfast and Braai were great, too. Lodge is offering lots of possibilities to explore the area and, of course, local surf hubs. Managers and staff are very helpful to ensure the stay is going to be awesome.Would definetly come back and can strongly recommend staying here!
