Honestly, 5 stars aren't nearly enough to fully capture how delicious our stay at GlenDonald Cottage was. I'm actually struggling to find the words to describe it myself. It's an oasis nestled into the foot of sprawling mountains and hugged by a deep, flowing river. The cottages are comfortable, cute, and stocked with everything you need. The patio and lapa look out onto the river, offering shade whilst still soaking up the day's heat. There's a cold pool and a Kol Kol wood-fired hot tub, a braai area, a fire pit, and tubes to float down the river in - beer in hand. The best part? No signal, no wifi, no reason not to be fully present in the moment. Myself, and all of my twelve friends, will definitely be back.

My favorite place!!! Glendonald Cottage deserves as many stars as there are in a moonlit sky. The peace, tranquility, beautiful house and incredible river at your doorstep make it unbeatable. I definitely plan on making an annual pilgrimage.

The most amazing place to spend a comfortable holiday. A very well appointed house and cottage that feels like home away from home. A magnificent natural mountain pool for swims and fun. And of course the famous and unforgettable Visgat Gorge kloofing day trip with its jumps, rapids and deep dark languid pools for the diehards.
