bought cheesecake yesterday & found an eggshell in the cheesecake , very disappointed.lady at bakery also not very friendly.

Disappointment is a understatement....was craving a nice chocolate dessert bought 6 freshly packed cupcakes and I have never had such hard uneatable cupcakes, taste like they have been sitting for weeks HORRIBLE HORRIBLE !! could not buy from your bakery as there's always Flys in it so disgusting . Come on spar do better it's 2023

I've been to this particular branch many, many, many times before, but tonight they managed to blow my socks off.You all know we have this dreaded thing called loadshedding, right?And we're experiencing STAGE 6 now, which means FOUR HOURS of LOADSHEDDING at any point.It's enough to make you want to curl up in a ball and cry and cry and cry.....But we're not doing that right now.Anyway, back to what I came here for. I went looking for warm veggies to have with our eisbein and after searching high and low, I decided to make a stop here.Am I glad I did....This little shop had roast potatoes and pampoen koekies available. I refuse to call it pumpkin fritters, because what I bought tonight is proper PAMPOEN KOEKIES.Soos my ma dit gemaak het.Big, soft and not too sweet. Just heavenly.At R12.99 each, you need to run, not walk... I said run, yes like Forrest Gump..... And get yourself some of those pampoen koekies.You won't be disappointed.

Not the fanciest shop, but very well managed, clean and friendly! Enough available to quickly grab something! And the Deli section is excellent with their fire pizza oven!

Unfortunately the new Spar in Wilderness is seriously lacking, from the disinterested staff in the store, to the shouting & swearing staff on their break eating lunch on upturned crates around the corner against the building, to the litter & cigarette butts everywhere due to the lack of dustbins & poor training, to the fact that the new Spar has not integrated with the local Wilderness Village feel at all, it’s just not what it could’ve been but hopefully it can be turned around.
