This is a definite must visit for a cool adrenaline rush experience. The staff was nice and friendly. The is spectacular nature views. Note that the restaurant is closed between 2pm and opens at 6pm. I wish they had included that on the website after our ride we couldn't have lunch as the kitchen was closed.

Exhilarating ride not for the timid. The chicanes, long drops, sweeping scenic bends, all add towards a fleeting yet memorable experience. Well worth the Rand 580 for two.

This is probably the fondest memory we have of our Lydenburg trip! If you’re in the area you have to take a ride on the long tom! There is a quaint restaurant with a stunning view too! There is nothing to be afraid of with this ride, the design is well engineered and you cannot fall off if you remain seated - there are seat belts too! The view coming down the long tom ride is stunning - you almost wish you could do it in slow motion. We were a big group of people and the older (65-70) folk also thoroughly enjoyed the ride! Its probably not suitable for kids under 7, but this is just my opinion - check with them before booking.

Fast and furious! An adrenaline rush activity suitable for all ages. Super fast down the mountain but a thrill of note! Hold on tight!
