Historical landmark

It is a great place to visit when in P.E / Gqeberha.. The gigantic flag is very special and a lovely view of the harbour.The only reason for giving 4* instead of 5 is any visitors do need to be aware that this has become a dangerous part of the city. Only visit in the daytime and keep your wits about you.And Do NOT drive through the rest of Central towards Parliament street when you leave.., This has now become a gang owned territory. Rather go back to the main road towards the coast. Such a shame to see how Central has now become so blatantly run by criminals. Why the police/army don't clear the area is beyond me.

Very nice place to eat at and friendly staff and very good service. Nice place next to the sea. Loved the food.

Ghandi Square is my favourite safe space in the big city of Gold. It keeps the old spirit of sleek and business Joburg going. It is unfortunately the only sane connecting nerve for the city that gradually slumming away.Thank goodness to the massive investment of OPHC to keep the area true to it's heritage quality,those old magnificent buildings still show some life. Go around there and take a moment to admire the architectural majestic building around the square.

Would be an amzing place if it were clean and maintained dirt all over the place smells inside.but to admire the creation of God is always amazing

Goodness what a dissappointment. Dirty, smelly and wet floors. Probably leaking tanks. Nothing to see here besides the thought of who is rescuing who? Defnitely looks like the fish needs to be released. Dont go, you will be wasting your money R40 per person. FYI the one and only shark doesnt have teeth, so we were told??

It was my daughter's 13th birthday on 27th Dec. My in-laws took them to the aquarium. The father in law asked the lady at the counter whether our 10 year old pays full price. She was not kind about the question at all and virtually shouted at my father in law with an ugly face and bad body language. What are you saying? Yes!" He was shocked that she could be so ugly just because he asked the question. After she was so rude he decided he will not go in with my mother in law and the kids and asked to rather have his R40 back. The lady then said. "Take your money and go" and gave back all our money and said that my mother in law and kids were not allowed in. She then proceeded to explain to another light skin man how wrong they were

Cold beer!

Nice commercial and transit hub.Couple of spots to sit down while you wait for your bus and have a meal or visit one of the restaurants and fast food places overlooking the square.Seemed well guarded so I felt pretty safe with guards pretty much all around. You might get the occasional person asking for some money or some of your food (I got 2 people in the hour I spent there).If I could have my way, it would be lovely if the square could have some street food stands!
