Very cool! Can’t remember the last time I went into a cave. It’s surprisingly big with a high ceiling. You need to check the tides and make sure you arrive at the cave just before low tide so that you can spend a decent amount of time inside looking around. There’s a beautiful beach for swimming right near the cave so you can make a day of it. It’s ok for kids as well, accompanied by parents. The cave is about a 600m walk front the parking area, it’s not a tough walk at all. There is a road that leads up closer to the cave but you must be a permit holder to use this road. You would also need a vehicle that is off-road worthy.

The cave is VERY, VERY difficult to find, even though the paths are well marked. As a result, we didn't find the cave but came across spectacular rock features, blow holes and arches

This is a must do experience. Make sure you are there for low tide to be able to safely access the cave which leads to the grotto

It's a beautiful cave and very popular with tourists so it's difficult to explore in peace, but most people are friendly and accommodating. You access the cave from the first smaller cave as you cannot walk around it even with the tide low, unless you're dressed with river shoes and don't mind wading through the water. For your own safety though rather access the cave from the smaller one and the entrance is big enough for anyone to walk through, again just have water shoes on as it does help navigate the small rocks.

The view from inside the cave is stunning... The cave is only accessible during low tide. Comfortable clothes and walking shoes to be worn as it's quite a walk, many steps and slightly Rocky path. Easy for kids with lots of energy but need to be supervised due to uneven path and loose rocks. Pics shown are mid tide so couldn't access cave

Beautifull, Amazing, Breathtaking. The small opening just before the entrance some people don't see and then try to enter from the front? Guys, after your rock scrambling and down some steps carved out of the sandstone down the dune and then balancing over the rockpools to try and keep dry, you need to keep to your right hand side, alongside the rocks because the entrance will then be on your right hand side. Through a small hole..a bit of going down almost on your hands and knees will help but will be worth it... spectacular view awaits you. Good luck, you won't be disappointed.

We enjoyed our quality time here, wasnt too hot (although we came like around 1pm), also were not so many ppl around ! We need to wait a little bit around 1.5hrs to explore the cave as it was still hightide. While we were waiting, we watched some locals divers who were hunting for oysters. We need to walktru the water once its a bit lowtide to get into the cave. Be careful when you do this as the rocks are quite slippery.

Amazing experience and a definite must see if you're visiting the area. A smaller cave leads into a much bigger spectacular cave. Easy 15 min walk from the car park to top off the stone steps leads down to the caves. Be sure to go during low tide to avoid getting your shoes wet.
