Emergency room

Morning it's not my own experience but I'm talking on behalf of my 82 year old mom..... and i experience it myself..... At 19:50 my mom's window next to her bed was still open... My mom's bed was dirty... The food that she was trying to eat herself.... And we at home are feeding her so the bed was also a mess... The next day my sister came there 7 o clock my mom was lying vertical with her legs between the rails of the bed so i just want to ask where were the carers that was aupose to sit with my mom 24/7....i hope i get a feedback my sister also spoke to the matron about all our concerns a hospital is suppose to be a safe haven especially to the elders... nurses was laughing at night and talk all their stuff as if rhey were at a party.... So i hope this matter will be resolved and that nurses will be nurses as in years back

On Monday 13 June My husband was admitted to Vergelegen Mediclinic for spinal surgery. He received tremendous treatment from Staff Nurse B Ntsendwane during the day, nothing was too much for her for which I say huge Thank You. In the evening the Sister/nurse Yolande' took over, this was an absolute angel. So professional. If he made the slightest movement, she was at at his bedside right through the night, keeping him as comfortably as humanly possible. Thank you to all the staff but to these two special ladies I wish you every success, and a sincere thank you for your professionalism and care. Mediclinic you are honored to have two such staff members. God Bless

Panorama is one of the best hospitals in the western cape with most of the best services a hospital can provide.Car parking even in the quiets time of the month is a big problem and although plans for parking buildings are already planned for a couple of years action is really needed to alleviates the parking shortages.

I'm from the hospital just now, the staff at the reception was very disappointing. The guy said to the chubby lady Vra vir hulle wat soek hulle" the lady just peeped at us and continued minding her business"

Very dissapointed with the Accounting department- Shantal submitted an account with an incorrect/missing code resulting in medical aid rejecting the invoice. This was only picked up 9 months later, after numerous calls between my med aid and Shantal, I told her what the M/A needed from her side in order for them to release payment.17 months later we find out she failed to comply with the request as per medical aid and we have been handed over to debt collectors - non payment was due to her error. She did not apologize - A don't care attitude. Will not go back

No service at emergency room, waiting at the door to get in but no one opens, no receptionist, only 1 doctor and no one informs you of what is happening with the patient as no one is allowed in the room with the patient you sit and wait and wonder ... I could have driven to Middelburg Hospital and got helped faster .Worst ER hospital service

The staff are friendly but that does not help them obtaining points as their services are extremely slow and not professional at all. Currently regretting our decision bringing our child for a check-up..

Except for two Sisters(who i had bad experience with) who don't want to do their job, the place is exceptional.

Casualty ward is such a let down to an otherwise great hospital. Short staffed, old equipment. I know its a busy ward but waiting 2hrs to get put onto ECG and take bloods isn't acceptable in a private Hospital. If there are delays then give patients updates. They only noticed me after I just walked out and decided I want to go to a different hospital. Again the rest of the hospital is great just not casualty.

Excellent healthcare and treatment facility! The Doctors and staff are amazing - professional, kind and knowledgeable.The hospital itself is spacious, modern, impeccably clean and comfortable.I was particularly impressed by the maternity ward - felt similar to a hotel rather than a hospital. Single occupancy rooms ensured for privacy and a peaceful environment during the recovery process.
