Gem of a gym - highly affordable, professional with a personal touch. Thank you Wayne for reinstating pilates classes on a Sunday - Razia is wonderful. Her encouragement and sense of humour make the exercise feel fun while still getting a great workout. Thank you Viva!

I came to Viva GYM Rosebank and I thought I mistakenly left an item at their facilities, I went back to somehow retrieve it and Thebe, the general manager was extremely helpful to assist me, he immediately took my details and checked the camera footage from the time I entered the gym to the time I left, and gave me a speedy response to what he saw. I honestly feel so good knowing that I can train in a safe environment with people like Thebe who are alert and willing to help me. Thanks so much Thebe. Your services were much appreciated! 7 stars for this!

It's much better than I expected. Spacious with all the machines and weights you'll ever need. Space/area for sled pushing, battle ropes, assault bikes and lunges. And all other normal gym amenities. At R399/month on a month-to-month contract, it's great value for money!

There's absolutely no ventilation in the gym, no aircon nothing, not even the water is cold. Been ongoing for the last 6 months

Canceled my gym membership at the gym. I asked if this is all I needed to do to have the membership canceled and I was informed that yes, that's all. A month later my account was debited and I was then informed, by someone who had a similar experience with Viva, that you also have to cancel online.Who do I speak to, to have my money returned?

Edit:Extremely dissapointed in the gym. Predatory pricing. Had a friend on the month-month subscription that wanted to cancel since they are moving to a different country. Had to pay a full month's membership for a month they won't even be able to use the gym just to close their account. Will be moving my own membership to an alternative gym as well.Old review:Needs another squat rack and bench and has no deadlift platform, but it's a solid gym. You can get done what you need to get done without waiting too much even in peak times.
