Southport Tidal Pool
Nice and clean swimming spit definitely a place to go if you have little ones, the tidal pool is safe and has easy access. The tidal pool is also mainly sand rather than rocks. You can swim in the ocean as well and the area has lifeguards on duty

A spotless beach, clean and sanitary. We enjoyed walking on the beach with our dog. Lifeguards on the beach keeping everyone safe. Also a nice restaurant to get some food.

Something for everyone. Lovely tidal pool with amazing views. Rocks to climb on and go explore. Beach with waves to play in. The sand is clean. Chance to fish whilst kids play safely. Lifeguards on the beach. Toilet facilities. refreshments available nearby. Carguards at the carpark.Worth the drive from Durban.

Southport Tidal Pool
One of the prettiest spots on the south coast. Great safe swimming area for small kids on the shallow side, and the water gets gorgeously warm at low tide! Great fun for adults and older kids to swim over to the deeper end and sit on the sea wall as the waves come in. On the rocky side there are lots of little fishes to see!
