Thought i will give the smaller local bussiness a go , rather than the bigger ones. Had some blinds made. Despite very friendly assistance from staff at mix n match i had the worst experience with the owner , Mr Joofuban. I percieved him to be very rude.

Makotis
I went to Makotis to have a custom bomber jacket made. Yusuf was extremely helpful, from the selection of the fabric and finishes to having the tailor take my measurements. It was a very efficient process and now have a beautiful bomber jacket that I get complimented on. I highly recommend Makotis for any customized item you would like made.

All the times that I've been there, the owner is (literally) on a platform and even though he doesn't appear frantically busy, he tends not to make an effort to give friendly, quality responses to enquiries. Rather he defers/delegates them to his floor staff. If you ask for a small offcut, be prepared to be given an unnecessary large, unwieldy piece - and to be made to pay for it.My least favourite store in the Elardus Park shopping centre.

This store has everything you are going to need in the range of fabric. Buttons, zips, cloth and ribbons, they have it. They have a great variety. Given such a large selection the store is really tiny and for that reason it feels quite cramped. You will also fins that itnis normallynquite busy so you might feel a bit tight moving past other customers in the tiny passages.

Ramadan hours mean they close at 16:00. Arrived at 15:50 and their doors were already chained... I understand religious events... But if you say you close at 16:00 then close at 16:00... It's unfortunate because they have a fantastic selection of sewing knick nacks. If you want a variety of fabrics however - then you will be better off driving to Chamdor.

Quite small so don't go here if you like a big varietyBUTI did find what I was looking for. The ladies were knowledgeable, polite and assisted me well.Also, I saw a few interesting things I haven't noticed at some of the bigger places before.
