Wow! Such amazing experience! We joined friends for New Years eve at Madeira's and had the best time! Excellent music, awesome drinks specials, fantastic food and best of all...amazing service! The waiters are all attentive, fun and super fast! One of our food orders got mixed up, but the waiter apologised, whisked it away and returned with the correct grub super fast! Really 5 star service all round! Thank you!

Aesthetically pleasing place, great lighting and overall ambiance. Perfect dining for family plus it’s next to the ‘The Fun Company’. Food is deliciously spicy and suitable for the price, the naan is fresh and tasty. (Halal - no alcohol). The staff is very friendly and efficient, waiting time is fair.

The place is beautiful and the seating is comfortable and very accommodating. The food was good and definitely value for its money. HOWEVER! The service was absolutely horrible. Sadly I won’t be visiting this establishment anytime soon. We waited over 40minutes to be served and waited nearly an hour for our food. The restaurant wasn’t even that busy, yet the service was extremely underrated and poor. I was deeply disappointed as this is a beautiful establishment and would’ve highly recommended it to anyone however if this was the off peak service, I cannot imagine what the peak hour would look like.

Been here twice now in 3 days. The burger was ok, the chocolate cake really good. Mile shake mediocre. The service at this place is appalling. I am on crutches from quad rupture repair and sat outsize both days. After dropping off the meal at.our table, both days they never came back to check on us. Today I was literally the only customer in the resturant. Had to reattach my brace, lower my leg from a chair and hobble back in with my crutches to let them know they messed up my order and I needed another drink. Terrible service! Then in addition the review response has a bunch of lies like me changing seating from inside to outside and other irrelevant facts. I ordered inside and sat outside. Never changed seats. Awful response from the owner. Never said anything about how i paid for my meal!! What an unprofessional reeponse to a genuine complaint!! Do better!! Thats not how you treat customers. When you look at the review history you will see a pattern of poor service!! And a partern of getting defensive on poor reviews and going in on the customers rather than taking ownership!!! I suggest going to customer service school. Not how you treat customers!!

An excellent place to spend time with your family and have a wholesome meal packed with flavour.Excellent service and exceptional quality of food. The restaurant provides an excellent ambiance and is well maintained. The owner takes great initiative to ensure that his customers are taken care of.Highly recommended.

We had the best experience here, friendly waiter, beautiful and tasty food, it felt like I was on an island for a minute, the lovely mist spraying on us in the Hartebeespoort dam heat, the beautiful surroundings, oh I will absolutely be visiting again ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Would recommend making reservations as they are extremely popular. We were however lucky enough to get a table. We were greeted as we walked in and menus were brought quickly. Host is amazing and premises is warm and cosy. There is outdoor seating too but we loved sitting inside. Had the Mo's breakfast, breakfast burger and chicken wings. Absolutely delicious!!

Took my wife here in the afternoon for lunch with our two children. Our first time visiting this establishment. We have been living in Cape Town now for 11 months and have tried so many venues. This is a place I am so sorry we never tried earlier. What amazing service. Our waitress was friendly, joyful and so wonderful. The eisbien was the best I have ever had. The Mussle Pot was the best my wife ever had. Our children loved their respective portions of the squid heads.Atmosphere was welcoming. They also have my favorite beer on tap which is Ice cold.It became a wonderful experience and not just a lunch. We loved it so much that we have been telling other family about it and I am happy to say that my aunt has decided to go there tonight for her birthday. So I'm really happy to be returning to this special and awesome restaurant. Keep it up Madeiras' team!

Visited on Friday 03 March with my wife for supper. Staff were polite, professional, and helpful. Food was EXCEPTIONAL!! Very tasty and well prepared, yummy! The atmosphere is lively, warm, and inviting. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and will definitely be back with friends.

My Diners Rosebank - Overall experienceSetup and wait time : My Diners get quite busy, if you intend going as a group it is important you make a booking beforehand. Ample seating available but fills out pretty quick. Professional and strict with reservations so if you do not book do not be disappointed if you are turned away. Great ambience and setup. Clean and really well maintained. They take pride in keeping it modernService : Served by Evelyn, polite and very patient. Answered all our questions and did not make any mistakes on the order. Management are all eyes too and make sure everyone are fine. They value service and listen to their customersFood : They have a really extensive menu and it may be overwhelming choosing as there are so many options and combinations. If you want to try a bit of everything a combo may be best for you. For starters I ordered Cheese Potato Naan and Samosas. The Portion were generous and the naan was phenomenal (enough to serve 3-4 people easily) it is the size of a large pizza (still tasted good the next day :). For mains we ordered the chicken chowmein, a combo which consisted of King clip, Prawns, 1/4 chicken and chips. The chowmein was decent a portion that could serve 2 people, if you feeling adventurous then this may be a bit basic, good for those that do not like spicy food. The combo was well plated and the portions were great. I opted for Lemon butter on the King Clip and Masala prawns. The King clip had a generous helping of Lemon Butter sauce and was well cooked, tasty with every bite. The prawns I expected them to be dry masala however it was pretty much a prawn curry (not a bad thing if you up for saucy prawns that you can enjoy with your naan). The prawns were large but the sauce overwhelmed them and they were quite soft. Would love to know if they have a dry masala or option that does not have sauce for future purposes. The chicken, surprisingly my favorite item of this combo. Tikka style chicken but cooked to perfection, spiced really well and tasty to the bone (probably one of the best tikka chickens around) I like the fact that it was not overdone with masala yet tasted so good! I loved the fries too, it was spiced really well and was super freshDesert : They have a few options on the menu and we opted for the double chocolate cake slice to share as we were quite full already. I was expecting a standard chocolate cake slice and was impressed when they brought out one of the prettiest looking cakes I have seen in a long time. It was beautifully plated and the side of ice cream with sprinkles was a great touch. It was not large but the quality was amazing, the texture was rich and the flavor was really on point. The portion was enough for my partner and I and really satisfying. Highly recommend if you have a sweet tooth!Drinks : They have a great selection of drinks, I was not feeling too adventurous so I settled for a coke only and my partner the chai tea (Chai tea was great but perhaps would be best served without the teabag in the cup, cardamom and cinnamon sticks still in it for a person to take out with a spoon)My Diners is a great place overall, amazing portions to share, good service and a lovely environment for a family, corporate or couples night out.I know it is 1 star short but the prawns let me down on this occasion :)
