Happy Acres
I recently took my high school biology classes to Happy Acres, and they had a ball! The visit was well organised, and the students learned a huge amount about classification and ecology. The greenhouse session was very popular, and the learning materials provided were excellent, as was our guide. The highlight of our visit was the river and the monkey bridge. Thank you for a fantastic morning. I highly recommend this spot.

Red Rock River Camp
One of the best experiences of my life at a breathtaking setting on the river. The hosts, Roach and Adelaine, were some of the most hospitable people I've met and all round amazing. Hope to go back soon!

Dis-Chem Pharmacy Newcastle
The staff of Newcastle Dischem are super sweet and the staff is friendly too. Dispensary workers are patient and are attentive to every question. Prudence from the Cosmetics dept is the best. Go to her for every single question about makeup and perfumes. She is great.

Red Rock River Camp
Lovely camping on lawn under the trees. Quiet and safe. Beautiful sunset and sunrise . Wonderful hosts made us feel welcome, and went out of their way to make our stay memorable. Scrumptious breakfast!!

Happy Acres is a home away from home. From a young age, it has been my escape to just be free and find friends and family for life. The multiple activities done at Happy Acres allow campers to develop themes-elves and and become worthy contributors to the world.

Dischem as in the retail shop is good thats why the two stars. Pharmacy not that great. Seems like the people behind the counter would say and do anything not to assist and rather send you away. Not really willing to help. Sorry sir we dont have it here go look in aisle 6, maybe they have something their. They seem young behind the counter maybe tey lack the experience or even customer training. Hopefully they are fully qualified.

Happy acres has been there as a home, it has supported me and helped me grow as a person.The camp staff are determined to make a difference in the best way possible. They prepare amazing food, entertaining games and so much more,The time and energy put into running a camp is unbelievable. I’m so grateful to have a place like Happy Acres.

Red Rock River Camp
Red Rock River Camp has blown our minds! We had a wonderful time at one of the best sections on the Orange river. Awesome rapids and adventurous camping next to the river. The catering was a feast. The experience of the guides helped us tremendously to get through the big rapids. Thank you guys for your wonderful service and great spirit!

Red Rock River Camp
We stayed for 2 nights and would stay longer if we could.Adelaine and Roche are the perfect hosts.... supper friendly and filled with knowledge about the area.Our campsite was right next to the Orange river. It was shaded, with a build braai and big outside kitchen. Ablutions were perfect and clean.We will definitely be back. We spotted over 22 birds in 48 hours. Heaven on earth
