Happy Acres

I recently took my high school biology classes to Happy Acres, and they had a ball! The visit was well organised, and the students learned a huge amount about classification and ecology. The greenhouse session was very popular, and the learning materials provided were excellent, as was our guide. The highlight of our visit was the river and the monkey bridge. Thank you for a fantastic morning. I highly recommend this spot.

Happy Acres is a home away from home. From a young age, it has been my escape to just be free and find friends and family for life. The multiple activities done at Happy Acres allow campers to develop themes-elves and and become worthy contributors to the world.

Happy acres has been there as a home, it has supported me and helped me grow as a person.The camp staff are determined to make a difference in the best way possible. They prepare amazing food, entertaining games and so much more,The time and energy put into running a camp is unbelievable. I’m so grateful to have a place like Happy Acres.

Wonderful hiking venue with plenty of most interesting sights along the trail. Lynn the owner gave us an extremely presentation on the diverse flaura and fauna of the area which will open many eyes, when you see what we (homosapiens) are doing to nature. My daughter, 12 YO, just got back from a one-week camp. She gave me a full 3-hours non-stop-talking download of her experience that was totally positive. She’s still so very excited and grateful; already decided her BF and younger sis got to come along with her next year and stay for two weeks.She enjoyed and learnt so much from it, no regret had to drive her all the way from Maputo and back.Not to disprove some of the not-so-positive comments from other campers/parents, but my daughter’s account didn’t signal any inappropriate behavior and/or attitude towards children of either counselors or managers. Summarizing, she always felt comfortable, well taken care of, and engaged in all activities.

My Son has been attending Happy Acres Camp for 4 yrs now and he still enjoys these Camps even todayI'm grateful for this experience for him, where nature is the order of the day, with no gadgets and off social media and the likes , he has grown to be a better person from this experience

Great camp with a friendly environment. There were helpful counsellors and happy campers throughout the whole camp! The campers always come first and partake in healthy and fun activities. Clean facility with friendly staff and good food. Would recommend taking your child to Happy Acres at least once!

Always a great experience for my daughter. She has been to 7 camps already, and she's looking forward to her 10th.

My son has been to 3 camps at Happy acres and has the most wonderful time. Good old fashioned fun, no devices, no tech. Wonderful facilitators and support and friends that stay in touch long after camp ends. Highly recommend.

My boy just returned and says it’s been the best time of his life. His going back again in July and Dec. He is already a changed boy organising his room and eating much of his protein! This place is absolute class
