The staff of Newcastle Dischem are super sweet and the staff is friendly too. Dispensary workers are patient and are attentive to every question. Prudence from the Cosmetics dept is the best. Go to her for every single question about makeup and perfumes. She is great.

Dischem as in the retail shop is good thats why the two stars. Pharmacy not that great. Seems like the people behind the counter would say and do anything not to assist and rather send you away. Not really willing to help. Sorry sir we dont have it here go look in aisle 6, maybe they have something their. They seem young behind the counter maybe tey lack the experience or even customer training. Hopefully they are fully qualified.

Poor service. When I order from the app, it just processes and never delivers my chronic medication. I have to message on WhatsApp and who ever handles it either doesn't reply or is rude, then you have to phone them and they deliver days later. Unprofessional and unreliable

cashiers are rude, they do not listen to you. I have been in retail myself and I understand when closing time comes that you want to go home, but If i want to refund an item that I said that I don't want in the first place and then get attitude for it. absolutely unacceptable !

Just waited 15 minutes for vitamin manager re product on special 1+1 free - only had 1 on the shelf. No one attended to me and I put R 900's worth of products back and walked out - it was more important to the staff member to chat up another customer than to attend to me - he was going to call the manager - don't think he ever did. I have spent thousands at this Dischem since it opened and I am really disappointed - received good service in the past
