The Ski Deck
My son had his 9th party at The Ski Deck (using the big slope). Bryan helped us on the day and was fabulous. This was the perfect venue because we were able to bring our own food and cake (a kettle and fridge is available). It made things so easy. There is more than just the slope to play on and the kids had a blast!Leading up to the party the communication was great and when I called to ask questions I was given such helpful information.

This is a fun venue for your child’s birthday party from age 5 to 8. The kids slide down a carpet that is wet so make sure you take spare clothing in case the get wet. If you are going on holiday and need to learn to ski, this venue is very convenient and the staff are friendly.

Customer service in general needs improvement.Emails go unanswered.Trying to reshedule an appointment is a headache. One is better off forfeiting a lesson than deal with the unfriendly unpleasantries.

Review of the Airbnb accommodation on the same property.Beautiful decor, quiet location. Wifi works during loadshedding. Lots of space and stunning jacuzzi bath and jet shower. The hot water is super hot. There are double his and hers cupboards. Tea, coffee, milk, toilet paper, towels, soap, shower gel, candles, battery light provided to get you started. There is no bathroom door but the toilet is tucked in the corner so no big deal.

Wonderful experience. The staff were helpful and the facility was great! Closest you’ll get to real snow in Gauteng ⛷

The Ski Deck
It worked really well as party venue for 7year olds. Bumboarding was a hit and the other play areas was great variety activities for the kids to play all the time. More setup time before our guests started arriving was necessary...party group scheduled in preceding time slot left as our guests came.

This was not at all what I expected. Situated in the middle of a suburb this entrepreneurial business is a fine example of someone thinking outside the box. It's not pretty, it's not big and it's not cold but it works if you want to learn to skin. The shop is good for variety but be warned. Take plenty of money. 2 prs. of ski socks R500. But they do have all you need and let's face it your European winter holiday was never going to be cheap.

The place is nice, well kept and equipped. Unfortunately, we had a poor experience with ski lessons, and it was worse when communicating it to Maggie. She took weeks to respond, denied what we were saying and refused to consider a refund of 1 of the 6 lessons we paid, in which our daughter simply refused to participate therefore only took 10 minutes of it. Very poor.
