Scrumptious, beautiful, tasty food. Priced well. Atmosphere just awesome. Worth driving 260km round trip to meet friends for lunch. The only fault that I picked up with the venue is the Acoustics in the conference hall. I have had a few meetings there over the last few years, hearing the speaker is a problem.The 4 and 6 seater tables in the Dining room did not experience a problem with the Acoustics. Love going to Avontuur.

I love race horses and horse racing. I don't know anyone here and never went inside, stood along the road for 1hr, just watching the new baby. Amazing animal, wash wishing I could go in but did not know if it was allowed, was on my lunch break. Best break I had in years.

Beautiful horses and wonderful people.Lovely to watch a show put on by the students and the horses, this is an NPO, please support, lovely Sunday outing!They do have card facilities and a coffee shop.

Both adults and kids will equally enjoy this experience. A well choreographed show with impressive skills from riders and horses.Interaction with the horses after the show was an added bonus. A must!

The South African Lipizzaners have sadly relocated to Mistico, Paarl in the Western Cape!!We will miss them here in jhb, but lucky for all those who get to watch the majestic stallions and their riders in the Cape!!
