Gooderson Drakensberg Gardens Golf & Spa Resort

Beautiful scenery, lovely gardens. Staff all very well trained and friendly. Accommodation excellent. Only needs decent free Wi-Fi to make it prefect.(You do get enough free Wi-Fi to download about one email.)

This place was absolutely awesome!!!! My fiance and I went there in Dec 2022. It is very clean, great set up, all you could need when on holiday. A great little shop to get the necessities and even some luxuries ;). You can stay in the lodges or at their campsite. We were at the campsite. There was always hot water, which was great. There are tons of activities to do in the resort from adventure putt putt, a game of golf, hot and cold pools, water slides, childrens rock climbing, zipline, bmx course, jungle gyms, restaurants, hiking, you name it and they pretty much have it! It was so beautiful and peaceful. The staff were very friendly and offered great service and assistance. Shout out to the awesome Fanie & Simo at the adventure park for their awesome attitude and assistance at the adventure park. The employee in the shop was truly great and gave great service too (sadly can't remember his name)! We had the Christmas buffet which was out of this world. The waiters, runners, cleaners and just all the staff were fantastic. The amenities and facilities were incredible. Cannot wait to return!!

Asides from pot holes on the way, absolutely stunning Resort with so much to do.Staff were very helpful especially Sam who always provided a service with a smile, Rooms were super clean and so spacious with stunning views.The staff that cleaned our room were friendly and super efficient.The garden staff that made a make-shift umbrella stand that we needed in the heat were really awesome.Thank you all that made our stay so special and perfect.

What an awesome resort. From the time we booked in until our departure. Friendly staff at reception, housekeeping, resort facilities and the Eagles roost restaurant wS simply amazing. Great variety. Wow what a great place to relax. Such awesome facilities and so much activities. The buffet was just amazing. Rooms clean, and modern.Thank you Gooderson staff for making us feel like family. You guys rock.

Overall good experience. It's changed alot since I've last been there.Mainly, the roads to get to the resort are not maintained. The roads within the resort are also not good.Food availability on the resort is good. Bergview Restaurant was a nice cozy spot to have dinner. Staff were friendly and attentive.Would like to see more maintenance being carried out at the resort.Activities are plentiful.

Been here when I was 15. Had such a beautiful room, with a stunning view. I truly enjoyed my stay. The beds were comfy, and at no point was I cold at night even though we visited during the month of June. I do want to visit soon and would like to know if yall are pet Friendly and allow smaller dogs to stay?

We spent the long weekend here, and so much felt it doesn't end...everything is so perfect here. The scenic location, the massive property, the adventures within the resorts, the river flowing through, the breakfast, the dinner...everything is so so good...there are reviews of the rooms needing some maintenance, which is true however nothing alarming about it. Yes I would like if the rooms are paid some attention by the maintenance, but that's the only thing I can look at which needs little consideration. Rest all is very very good. The desk manager Gerath, at the restaurant the chef Belinda and the manager Andrew who gives so much personal attention to every guest , is phenomenal. The rest of the staff clearing the dishes working tirelessly and patiently....a special mention to all those who do that job. The activities inside are a lot to do, you can spend the whole day within the resort...the mountains nestling the resort is a view when the sun shines early morning...over and all a very good experience.. .keep up the good work Goodersons Drakensberg...well done.

Had a great time with my boys and great experience, the staff was really chilled, plus the neighbors were awesome. The Riverbend Chalets was a beautiful community. Shout out to Aus' Monica your services were great.
