Aikido school

Finally found the place where I can practice Aikido like you are in Japan. I've been looking for a place to continue practicing Aikido in Sydney for a long time and this is it! Very friendly atmosphere also and everyone feels welcomed.

Doumo arigatou gozaimashita! Small, friendly dojo with very dedicated sensei, Saud. Have enjoyed training for a few kyu grades in this dojo.

I did the Target Focus Training recently with Andrew and had a very positive experience. I learnt a huge amount in a short period of time and am now feeling much more confident and safe in general. I know that if the worst happened, I'd know what to do. I'd definitely recommend it!

Best dojo I've ever trained in. Excellent teaching style covering everything from empty hand techniques and weapons to meditation and shiatsu, in a supportive, ego-free atmosphere.

Great place to learn Aikido and martial arts.

The training at AIS is phenomenal - in that, Andrew pushes you to achieve a level of self-defense within Aikido that is more martial than just art. If there were a bunch of samurais looking for somewhere to train, this would be the place. I also like the seriousness that the dojo has for women to become quick at truly defending themselves, so there is a push for women to become stronger and more confident that they can defend themselves if something was to happen somewhere. I've seen the results and it's pretty amazing. I would recommend everyone to give AIS a go.

Extremely welcoming and friendly environment to learn Aikido in. From the first lesson I felt a part of the dojo and group and have been supported by not only Sensei, but other students.
