Glensheiling Caravan Park
A beautiful setting next to a dam with many big trees. The children enjoyed paddling on the old boats and paddle ski's provided. The caravan we rented was smelly, looked dirty and had a leak. Will definitely NOT recommend staying in the provided vans.

Riverbend Chalets & Campsite
We have had the most wonderful stay in Mongoose cottage. Walks by the river are serene, the views from the deck are spectacular, and the beach and surrounding activities are a stones throw away. Our dogs love it here too.

River of Joy
The camping site is well maintained; Clean and peaceful. The nature surrounding is beautiful and the kid's play area keeps the kid's busy for some time. The river is filled with fish (carbs) and many MORE! Great little place in the middle of no where. (; great experience ! There was no swings for the children, their is no directions to little shop on premise. We will return again in future without & doubt!

Nkwe Pleasure Resort
Was very fun, would've been peaceful but there were various people playing loud music which was clashing. Otherwise it was clean and nice.

Vanrhynsdorp Caravan Park
The food in ZAR restaurant is really nice but I can't say the same for the campsite. Limited shade, nothing but gravel, could only find 1 tap in the camp. Noisy people staying in the chalets that carried on till after 12. Ablutions need a revamp and bringing into 2020 not 1960. Who sticks stones on toilets lol? Won't be back.

Wagon Drift Lodge
DG Overlanding camped at Wagondrift Lodge and Game Farm. This lodge is about 140Km's from our home. The lodge offers a variety of accommodation options, to suit all needs - from Camping with private ablutions, bush camping with flush toilet, hot water and a plunge pool, to chalets and cottages as well as luxury safari tents. We had a private ablution camp site. Really wonderful and we had a great time. Will go back.Only about a 700m gravel road, which is in good condition.Self-game drives are not allowed, but the lodge does offer game drives around the game farm.Swimming pool.Hot water at the ablutions from gas geysers and there are also power points at all sites. All have a big boma, firepit as well as a lovely built in braai.Lovely place – peaceful and quiet.

Sugar Loaf Caravan Park
If you camp in summer make sure your spot is close to the ablution, you're going to shower 5+ times a day due to the heat. Close to beach if you take the board walk. Hippos and crocodiles everywhere. Town with shops and restaurants not too far but still driving distance. Camping spots are well spaced.

Struisbaai Caravan Park
Great place. Grass plits. Lits of taps and PowerPoints around. Lots of toilets, showers, washing basins, dish washing basins, very safe, basically on the beach, great swimming beach, great fishing all around the coast.

Lambert's Bay Caravan Park
This is great value and I wish most caravans sites would keep things simple and affordable like this one. It is not excessively maintained to make it look clinical like most caravan sites these days which in turn drives up overhead costs that are being carried over to the camper of course. Most caravan parks these days are completely missing the point with their extravagance, trying to compete for 5-star ratings which in turn makes it ridiculously expensive, hence why most overlanders / world travelers opt for wild-camping or rather stay in B&B's
