Utility contractor

We recently installed a SunSynk solar 6 panel solar system at our home . During the exploratory phase we got excellent advice on the various options and Paroshen and his team helped us narrow down our decision to a solution that met our needs and was affordable. The actual installation was professionally done by a large experienced and competent team. During the installation we received ongoing updates and all our mundane technical queries were addressed in a way that we could understand . The quality of the work was exceptional, the team were polite and professional throughout. We were delighted with the final product and now enjoy a seamless and lower cost energy supply , with and without load-shedding.

My initial dealing with abaxa has been fantastic. Booking enquires prompt, service from Customer Support ( jean) excellent. in arranging ATCO gas permits fast and efficient. Staff again prompt and great experience and service. well done to all. Job was a success with little intrusion.

They have very poor service, every month I have to battle with incorrect water account amounts sent to me or 10% interest charged due to late payment. I have explained to them that I only receive my salary on the LAST day of the month and yet they bill me for the 26th of every month. If you call their account / enquiries department no one answers. I have asked multiple times that a top manager call me or for me to go and see a top manager and no one even respond to my request.

Tried contacting for after hours (emergency) support with no luck. Calls get cut off and no response on WhatsApp either. You claim to offer after hours support yet not reachable and responsive which makes zero sense. I am now stuck with no support!

Utterly useless and unprofessional company!!!! Poor administration. They don’t send statements some months. They statements late. They send statements to the wrong people and then come shut off your power even after numerous calls requesting statements. Very quick to switch off power due to the pathetic administrative bungling. Utterly pathetic.

Had them come out to quote and do installations. Speedy response, dealing with Martin was quick and easy. Fairly priced

The worst service provider ever. You will be transferred from pillar to post with no assistance. Days without electricity. 8pm no more assistance even from theirs called emergency line.

Honestly the worst utilities company I have ever encountered. They have definitely ruined my Balwin experience! My bill moved from less than R 500 using STss-Wallet (prepaid) to a R 1950 under Meerkat! Even if usage varies monthly this was oddly high! The billing method they use is also not very transparent! You literally get an invoice and you have no option but to settle even when you’re disgruntled because apparently they cut the electricity and you have to pay R 250 for reconnections. When you query through email or phone calls, the experience is very unpleasant because you’ll be met with a very unbothered response . It’s unfortunate really that we have to deal with such unnecessary inconveniences!i

Wow!!!!!!! The worst Company in the world, you will have a bill of thousands in one month .. buying electricity at pick n pay is better. Terrible customer service, you will have a cold winter due to inflated utility bills .. the competition Commission must investigate them

I am a client of your and our complex power just got cut because you guys are crooks and don't pay over the money that we paid to you to the City of Tshwane. I will tell this to everyone I know!
