Oral and maxillofacial surgeon

I had a wisdom tooth removed by Prof Grotepass last week. The removal was completely free of pain and discomfort, and my recovery has been great (I didn't need any pain medication after the day of the operation, which I'm sure is a testament to the Prof's skill). Really appreciate the way the entire procedure was explained in detail before I sat in the chair, and how all my questions were happily answered; it helped me feel very comfortable and safe throughout the process. Highly recommend this practice!

He is AWESOME. So knowledgeable. So comforting, easy to be around, wonderful vibe. The whole practice is just so relaxed yet professional. You feel like you're in the best possible hands with this gentle giant. Highly recommend.

pathetic, i had a appointment and he had send his assistant home at the time i got there he had me for 3 minutes waisting my appointment time and still charged me for doing nothing where he had my x rays on e mail for 2 weeks, stated i am not paying for the appointment, and yet i was charged around R500 what a thief

He is extremely skilled and very friendly. He removed all 4 of my wisdom teeth under local anesthesia without any pain or discomfort. I was nervous at first, but I quickly relaxed when he started doing his magic.

I need to express how happy and relieved I am to have had the services of Dr Grotepass. Even at 77 with a large white beard he was more gentle and skilled than most dentists i have been to. Proves that age doesn't matter one bit! He and his assistant made me feel so relaxed after being so nervous. I felt genuinely cared for, and if I had known there would be no trauma involved in having my widoms removed in the chair, I would have done so years ago!!

After a hell of pain for the whole month from the Doctor who broke my tooth during extraction and who was working alone without assistant, I finally at ease and hoping to be OK as I just taken out the remaining piece on tooth today by Dr Grotepass with so much kindness and gentle manner. He is the best by far and his team is also gentle and nice, so you just feel welcomed even before they work on you nevermind the price, I so wish they were contracted to my medical Aid my whole family would definitely have the best service you can ever get. God bless you Doctor and your team in general. Please train some Other Dentists to offer the same kind of service if possible.
