This must be the worst FNB branch ever; requested a new bank card for an expired card, after numerous calls to FNB and a re-issue of the card and three weeks later, I went to this branch again just to be told that the card has not arrived yet, however when I got home I called CCD the courier who claims they delivered the card at this branch a week ago, but the branch have not send me any notice of the card being delivered claiming it has not. If I could give minus stars I would have; Capitec your in and out in 5 minutes, FNB three and a half weeks later and still no bank card; next step wil be closing my FNB account!!!

Phoned 6 times to find out how to open an account. No answer. Then I went in to find out how I can get a loan to START a business and she said I have to bring the business banking statement of 3 years? But I haven't opened it yet? No this branch is completely incompetent.

Stunning service from start to finish. I submitted an online query and not only were they quick to respond but, Cassia Stocchi was particularly comprehensive in assisting me. She was extremely professional yet compassionate and wholly interested in what I needed help with. I would highly recommend their services.

Great service at Strand FNB. I was assisted by a very nice lady, Anatasha Petersen. She quickly assisted with all my queries and was very friendly and helpful to get everything sorted out ASAP as I urgently needed help with my banking statements.

Poor service

Think twice before using them for international transfers. Their time frames are inaccurate, and apparently US holidays delay lead times on forex payments (even though we weren't transferring from or to the US). Without getting into the details, the result of this could've led to a criminal prosecution and cost us a lot of money in legal fees. This is apparently a private bank with an international presence, but they don't seem to understand the gravitas of giving inaccurate information to clients who travel and work internationally. The repercussions of their actions could've been grievously detrimental.
