We saw Nicky for our first consultation. She did not offer much input or guidance but rather took down our plans. She sent us forms to complete in order to draw up the agreement, which did . After multiple follow ups, Nicky has yet to respond or complete the job.

I retained the services of following attorneys for an application of harrassment against me by a domestic worker on my property. After 2 days of testimony and 5 days of the magistrate not being available during lockdown, I still owed 30k on my defense. Despite making amendments in my contract agreement for a total budget through no fault of my own, and frivalous and vexatious conduct by the applicant, the above attorneys served me their client with potential arrest and 73k worth of charges. I have been unemployed since March and judgement was obtained against me despite the abuse of my constitutional rights to have my defense reviewed in terms of stalking of my person.I am not a legal expert but after being charged now 73k from an applicant's action against me, that was dismissed by the magistrate, and having won 2 counts of protection orders in my favour by myself, I would not recommend the services of this firm for equality court actions.As an Lgbqtia activist I would have expected more from this firm and the desire for money outwaying their client is why I have decided to write this review, despite my complaint to the Legal practice council, which is no more, unable to log my appeal in terms of my constitutional rights to obtain my best defence and follow through.All attorneys are required to uphold the constitution in all regards.I believe that this firm is more interested in money than people.

Before we started our divorce proceedings it was daunting and scary and Google and friends only had negative explanations about a divorce. Then we met Chantal and she calmed us down, and explained our roles and the process we need to follow. She guided us every step of the way and made us comfortable to proceed. Please be careful! I am extremely surprised to see these positive reviews. I suspect Martin has paid people to write these reviews. The service I received from this firm is shocking. They sent me a draft divorce contract which was full of mistakes and the cross referencing is incorrect. It seems their intention is to present documents like that in court so that the case can get thrown out and they can charge you more money to correct their errors. I had a one hour consult with Martin and I was given a contract full of extremely basic mistakes, such as physical addresses being incorrect. He did no research in terms of obtaining bank statements to acertain actual assets and liabilities. Martin charged me 17k for this and when question regaring their hourly fees I was told they billed me as they saw fit. He and all the associates at his firm just ignore my emails now and they still have my original marriage contract. I have the mens to take this further, but my heart breaks for all the other people who are in emotional turmoil and don't have the means to fight someone like Martin.
