Montusi Mountain Lodge
A wonderful place to relax and gasp at the awe inspiring amphitheater of the drakensbergs. Excellent food. Comfortable cottages. Such a lovely family own Montusi and keep it spotless. If you are brave take a 4x4 up the hill to watch the sunset & the elands! The family and staff are always willing to give advice as to where to explore. A stunning location expertly run.

Cavaliere Equine Centre
The Cavaliere Equine Centre is an incredible place for the whole family. The stables are absolutely beautiful and all the horses recieve only the best care possible. Whether you'd like to ride a horse or just come experience the countryside and take a break from the city, this a the perfect place to visit. Claudia is incredibly passionate and skilled at training anyone who wants to learn more about horse riding. Do your yourself a favour and come see for yourself. You won't be disappointed!

Montusi Mountain Lodge
We stayed 8 days in the Montusi Mountain Lodge in the Eastern Cape Drakensberge and cannot praise this family driven accommodation high enough. In fact it has all we love to have during holidays, like a fantastic environmentally sustainable accommodation, super-friendly and committed host and staff, a great restaurant and chef (thank you for the extra Green Curry again) and great hiking, swimming (the pool, the dam), yoga and horse riding possibilities. We are currently planning our next trip to Montusi, hopefully already in 2024.
