Rowing club

I've been coming here for years. Sydney Rowing Club is one of my fave spots in Sydney to chill or relax with family and friends for drinks or a meal. The staff are great, the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, and the views are spectacular on a sunny day. Parking can be an issue on weekends and peak times but not as busy on week days.

Limited menu, and bit of a concrete space, but food is ok

Very cool

Nice place for water sports. I did lots of water sports including sailing, kayakings, stand up paddle in the summer. It is near to the uwa sports centre. Very nice atmosphere and nice city views.

HEALTH HAZARD!! By the time you’ve read this it is highly likely that all of this facility has been dissipated by the mould which currently inhabits it. The fact that personnel can respirate yet alone hold ‘pasta night’ in this building, is a miracle on gods green earth. Many tourist who assemble at this facility often like to view George’s fromagerie, all are at a surprise when they come to the conclusion that there is no dedicated cheese growing/harvesting station, because the fungi that is marketed as cheese creates the wall of this facility. May gods hands rest on these weary combatants that lay foot in southern hemisphere’s Chernobyl. ps. m and s

Great water activities

Excellent place to eat.

Incredible food, views and atmosphere make this a must go" in Sydney. Our table had both the hot and cold seafood plates as well as many of their signature cocktails from the bar. Try the "Summer Cobbler" and be prepared for heaven. I also ordered an "Old Fashioned" with Makers Mark and it was nothing short of perfect. Spent the afternoon here and cant wait to do it all over again!"

A hidden gem!!A well known and iconic building & rowing club in Perth, which I had passed by so many times by either foot, car or boat and had pretty much ignored.Until I was invited to a function there and to my surprise the old building has been well set up.The upstairs function area is excellent with everything you need... bar, kitchen & a nice big balcony on the southern side, with great views of the Swan River and South Perth.I would highly recommend it for your next medium sized function.
