BBQ area

Awesome location, warm welcoming owner and staff. Me and my wife went there for our hunnymoon and I don't regret it at all as there is many awesome locations also around it but the resort is also very enjoyable and the breakfast each morning is simply wonderful and the only reason they don't get a full 5 stars for locations is only due to the road there. Well unless u take the highway that has high toll prices but yes they can't control this and the reason for the rating is only up inform all who read this. WE WILL COME AGAIN BEACH ISLAND!! bless u guys and service staff your a bunch of awesome people!! May u grow and become even better in the future. God bless!

Beautiful farm feel close to town, they have a great restaurant and awesome sauces too. Would definitely recommend!

We sat outside, we had to wait a long time for a waiter, eventually when she arrived we asked for a beer bucket and a coke, it took atleast 10min to arrive at our table. The waiter disappeared, we drank 2 beers from the bucket I stood up went inside returned the bucket paid for the 2 beers and coke and left. We had such great expectation as it was under new management/ownership and we were in the mood for burgers. I will think twice in going back. My solution to the problem, if the new owners/management will consider it, is to get one or two additional waiter/s to assist the people outside, it will contribute more to getting and retain customers than losing value income. I am more than willing to take the new owners/management to other establishments to show them the ropes of having satisfied customers.

Have used mad about spit braai for more than 1 special occasion and they never fail to impress with their delicious, fresh food and professional service.

Hi thereOn attending this sunday meal we observe that the pot provided is not only cold(flies sitting on the net covering the couscous salad) but not tasty as a currie should be the couscous salad was very bland. The value charged was not in line with the food provided. We were dissapointed due to the fact that the menu was off the table due to the kitchen closed early.(3 hours before closing the kitchen allready close for orders)It feels that you get forced to eat the potjie because thats all that is available (maybe you close the kitchen early to make sure the guest must order the potjie because it cant go to wastw?) It is a fair distance yo travel out and we did phone before hand . This is the second time its happened to us w that we were not able to order off the menu. Very dissapointed.Regards Monics

Visit was short and late at night so only really experianced the pub, which was full of nice friendly people. Reminded me of pubs from my youth.I will certainly be going back.

Excellent service, friendly staff and conducive environment and very affordable will definitely visit again.
