The worst accommodation we have seen during our whole 3 week South Africa trip. After seeing the damp, dark rooms, we immediately cancelled the reservation. We had to pay a deposit before we we see the rooms. This deposit as well as the booking costs were not refunded to us by the hotel or the organizer Expedia. I think there is a strategy behind this. The photos posted on Expedia have nothing to do with the reality.I can only warn everyone to book here and to go into discussions with the unfriendly staff, here you are unfriendly dispatched and put off on a possible refund which never takes place... Never again Andelomi

Hands down one of the best places we've ever been too. My husband and I went there for my birthday and stayed for two nights..They went out of their way to make my birthday extra special, even upgraded us to a bigger room. We were welcomed with a smile. The place itself is beautiful and peaceful, staff is friendly, breakfast was amazing. I wish we could have stayed longer everything was just beautiful. We are definitely coming back.Mr and Mrs Thys

Breaks my heart to only give two stars because the staff was so friendly! But we have to keep it honest. Food was not great, it was really bad. wine was more a grape juice. Rooms are ok and clean but they have to change the concept a bit. It’s super outdated. Hope they are able to adapt.

We stayed at Andelomi from 30 Jan - 2nd Feb. What a delightful place. We had a very comfortable and spacious room. The gardens are beautiful and so peacefuland there is a sparklingly clean swimming pool. The food was excellent and we enjoyed chatting to Mike, the owner, in his bar. He and all the staff are very friendly. It is close to the start of the Otter Trail, Storms River Mouth, Tsitsikamma Forest, Bloukrans River Bridge and Nature’s Valley etc. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. A beautiful little haven. Loved the gardens and easy walking access to everything. The staff could not have been more friendly or helpful and the breakfast was amazing! Would DEFINITELY recommend and go back!

What a beautiful place. The staff, the rooms, the atmosphere and most definitely the excellent breakfast. We definitely want to return. The staff made our stay unforgettable . They are friendly , helpful and welcoming. The rooms are spacious and clean and the breakfast was superb. We loved the perfectly pouched eggs and the yummy home made jams. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
