The staff at the cigarette counter does not exercise any customer relations ability whatsoever. There are never a pen available here. In short they are just rude.

Went to Escombe Spar this morning.215g Lucky star tinned fish was priced at R17.99,on the shelf,was charged R18,99 at the till.I was refunded the difference after I brought it to their notice.This is the 2nd time.Check you till slip.Posted by Indrani Vardan and not Siveshnee.

Very unpleasant staff especially one called Sli. About a week ago, I asked my lil sister to go inside the shop to buy some few items. I waited for her in the car. She came back very upset because of the woman that works at this spar. She was body shaming my little sister indirectly as if she was speaking about someone else while speaking about her to her colleague with a ponytail. I remember the last time i was there some staff (a chubby woman dark in complexion) was doing the same thing to a couple. Now it is done to my sister. It seem like a trend and i believe management of the store is aware of this! I WILL NOT BE BUYING FROM THE STORE AGAIN! And i will tell people i know to save themselves from that insult!!!

Their veggies amazing. BIG issue..when trying to weigh....there is hardly anyone to help.Had to do my own today and help an elderly lady with her bananas. It was R14 and she had a tag for something else R34......

Escombe Spar staff always make me feel welcomed! Keep up the good work. Great experience.

Always packers in isles, and bakery staff always chatting behind the counter, ignore customers, pies are overcooked, hot food smells and looks awful, cakes and confectionery, especially koeksisters are tasteless and horrible. 26 May. Service all round has improved.

At 7:00am on the 26/04/2022 my husband Philip Swart went into the store to purchase something for my grandson's lunchbox. He realized that he lost his wallet on his arrival at home. I immediately phoned the store and asked the Admin manageres (Marie) if they had found his wallet in the store. I want to commend her for her honesty and keeping me updated on the search for the wallet. Lastly she called and asked the colour of the wallet. When I mentioned brown leather, she said yes they found it and will leave it with Lungile the front floor manageres. When Philip collected it from her it was still all intact with the same amount of money he had in it. Thank you also Lungile.

Wonderful staff, friendly and full of laughs. Easy accessible parking structure with well mannered car guards. Wasn't really paying any attention to specials but all in all its a great spar, very clean and vibrant as well.

Been going to the Kwikspar for years. But today's trip made me question management about health and safety of their staff. Their cashiers are sitting on low plastic chairs that made me feel sorry for the uncomfortable cashiers who are trying their best to get through the day. When I asked her about the chairs, she just advised me that the manager said their was no money for better chairs. I will think twice about my supporting them as they do not take care of their staff.

Cashier very unfriendly. Had my basket on the counter, and didn't tell me that I needed to pass her my items. I think that is her job. She just gave me a very dirty look
