I've just started going to Mathew's beginners JFH classes on Saturdays since last year, and his classes give me so much JOY! I also took Sisqo and Julia's classes, which are also fun! I love the studio vibe, no competition, welcoming complete beginners like me, people are here to enjoy dancing, having fun. The drop in options give flexibility for me to participate whenever I can/want.I highly recommend DUTI studio for anyone who wants to dance!Reiku

A cool space that makes you feel like you are transported somewhere else. I came here for ballet and contemporary classes. I liked the teachers but the classes were a little short at 1h only. For more focus on technique and for a stronger sense of the adult ballet community, it would be better to go to a ballet-specific studio. In recent times, however, a couple of contemporary/jazz classes were cancelled at the last minute which I found quite disruptive as other studios normally go ahead with replacement teachers. The show, it seems, does not go on.

I've recently started hiring DUTI studios for teaching my Stretch classes and have found the space great as it's close to Newtown station, has a great open space with toilets and shower. Mathew has been very accommodating and helpful with my bookings!I've also attended a couple of Mathews hip hop/jazz classes and it is one of the best instructed dance classes I've ever been too!This is definitely the Dance studio I'll go back to, thanks guys! :)

Love the beautiful studio spaces and vibe that DUTI has. There are a wide range of dance classes offered in different styles and levels.The teachers create a relaxed environment for learning and share their passion for dance. They also encourage students to push themselves and try new things.I started taking classes just over two years ago as a beginner and have taken classes in various styles and levels since. It's a great place to dance and have some fun. Grateful for all the lovely people I've met at the studio.

DUTI is one of my favourite spaces to dance in Sydney. It is less than 5 minutes walk from Newtown station plus there are buses that stop right outside the studio, making it really convenient to get to. The studios are beautiful, spacious and always clean.All the staff and teachers that work there are lovely and there is something for everyone, whether you are an absolute beginner or a more experienced dancer. I personally have been dancing here for about 2 years and have found it is always a welcoming and safe environment to learn, grow and have fun.

The place is amazing and teachers too!But is not for beginners even if the class is described as a beginners class!I've done 3 classes and every time was way too fast paced,not enjoyable. I feel like we all want to have fun not feeling frustrated cause I cannot keep up with the steps!I run some dance classes too for beginners and is 100%for beginners!I thought this could help someone else who is going to try the beginners classes!

Really beautiful studio with so much space to dance in. I went to one of Ellena's open ballet classes and loved it! Such a good workout and sweat in only an hour. Super close to the station. Would love to come here more often!

I was always felt funny about dancing especially in front of anyone else.I took the courage and tried this studio as I’ve heard so many good reviews about it through friends and I wish I had come sooner!The atmosphere and the teachers make you feel so welcome and confident.I highly recommend giving this place a go

Highly recommend DUTI, one of the best dance studios in Sydney. They offer a wide range of dance styles for all skill levels.All teachers and staff are very friendly, creating an enjoyable environment to learn. The studio itself is also a beautiful space to be in.I’ve been going for nearly 2 years now and have loved every second of it. Thank you Mat for opening such a beautiful and welcoming space to dance and have fun!!
