Staff is friendly, occasionally stock issues but just phone ahead and they'll let you know when it will be available. Wide variety of stock of pet toys and niknaks. Good variety of dog food

ANIMALS IN THE STORE, PLEASE WALK OUT THE DOOR!! Take a stand and don't support pet shops that sell animals. This pet shops treats animals as merchandise. Be a voice for the voiceless and rather support pet shops that do not sell animals. If you are looking to buy a pet, there are many rescue organizations that you can adopt from, whether it is a mouse, guinea pig, porcupine, rabbit, dog or cat...they are rescues that can assist you. When you adopt, you save two lives as by taking one from a shelter, the shelter then has space to house another one.

Animals in shocking condition.Rats and mice have their tails and feet bitten off. There are at least 6 to 10 in a small 30cm² cage.Disgusting staff don't seem to know anything about animals well being as long as it brings them money.Staff didn't even want to touch the rats so god knows when last the cage was cleaned.

Thank you very much....I came by train and walked to this shop it took 25 minutes and 37 seconds......I was very scared of being robbed by tostsi while walking from harthfield station.....Lucky I made it to the shop and bought me a rat....I then proceeded to catch a taxi to Claremont station and thereafter train back to steenburg.....The rat (Leon) accompanied me and my friend on the train and on the taxi....We took Leon to the beach and now he in sleeping in his hok" ....This rat is a real life changer for me......He means alot to me and my friends.....I used to be afraid of the outside world but now I am a local train commuter.....Thank you to PRASA and the taxi driver

care takers at this pet store know very little about rabbits. They put unbonded rabbits in a cage. I got there one day and found that one of the rabbits had an untreated flesh wound the size of a 20c. The rabbits were surrounded by noisy birds and the rabbits were fed lucerne hay which isn't good for them. They clearly have no understanding of the animals they sell. I fear for the advice they give new pet owners who knows less than what they do.

disgusted with this pet store ! I went to see if they had any mice, they had two - both kept in a tiny cage with no enrichment. She violently shook the little place they were sleeping to get them out AND to make matters worse, the one mouse had it’s leg and tail bitten off !!!! they showed absolutely no care towards the situation. horrified by this situation.
