My experience at Vita Nova has been an exceptional one. I don't even know where to start as they exceeded my expectations with the Humanitas course. The contents of the course are exactly what every professional in the mental health sector need. My biggest highlight is being able to apply the knowledge in practice. Which is one of their aims, to bridge the gap between theory and practical. Their training has equipped me with the tools to become a counselor and prepared me for the journey to becoming a psychologist in the near future.Will definitely be making use of their services again.

Being there was amazing. The staff was amazing, friendly and helpful. I gained more knowledge on many things specially on how to be a good counsellor. I learned more counselling skills and i am now confident about being a good counsellor in the future . I will use all that I have learned to make sure that I render good counselling services to the people.

Attending Vita Nova How to Start and Run your Practice Successfully (HSRPS) course has not only open my eyes and empower me to start my own practice but gave me confidence and dealt with my fears and doubts. After obtaining my Bachelor in Psychology I realise that my dream of being a counsellor was far from coming through.Thanks to Humanitas course that brought my hope back and taught me how I could be a counsellor while still pursuing to be a psychologist. I feel so empowered that I have already started my practice. I have acquired so much knowledge that I am now aware of the do's and don'ts I learned from both courses.I have learned that perseverance and persistence is crucial in this field. I learn that it is important to be realistic about what you want to do and why you want to do that. There are so many tools out there it’s important to try and find what will work for you and the people you want to reach.The course is so practical that it was like I went to a business strategic session to plan for my practice. I came out of the three days course with an operation plan. I attended the Humanitas Counselling course and it FAR exceeded any expectations I had. I was able to re-learn concepts I'd studied in university as well as totally new concepts in a way that was practical, interactive, informative and really fun. Additionally, I love the fact that I've met so many people with similar interests and aspirations as I have, but completely different opinions, experiences, and backgrounds. Just completed the HOW TO START AND RUN YOUR OWN PRACTICE course at Vita Nova. Só glad I came. Was exactly what I needed to hear. Anri is an excellent presenter, course is well thought through and practical. I can recommend it to anyone considering to start your own practice.
