This is a case of 'You Get what you Pay For'.I had my windscreen replaced by Commercial Auto Glass yesterday, as they were a lot cheaper than PG Glass or Glasfit.I left the vehicle in their possession for 2 hours, for the fitment to be done.When I had returned to pick up the Car, the Supervisor (Who was the only person there with an ounce of Professionalism), assured me that the job was completed and that I could depart with the vehicle.The windscreen fit looked good and neat, but when I got the Driver's Side to get into the vehicle, I noticed that the Windshield had been damaged.I pointed this out to the Supervisor and the Fitter.When management approached, there wasn't even a hello, as he just went off at the Fitter, but also had this condescending and demeaning manner in communicating with me. Treating me as though, I was lying about it and even asking where the break off bits are (Which had obviously been discarded before my arrival).I stood my ground and said that was in perfect condition, as I rolled down the Driver's Side Window, in front of the Supervisor and left the keys in the ignition, as asked, when I arrived to drop off the vehicle.I said that this is a small amount of damage, but it's the principle of the matter.I was told by the Supervisor, that they have my contact details and that they will work something out.I'm not holding my breath and will accept this small loss.Also, the dirt from the replacement process, wasn't cleaned off the dashboard.

Very surprised after all these good reviews about affordable service to have just called and been quoted R395 to replace one side mirror of my Toyota Tazz and that was BEFORE labour. I only needed the glass but was told they don't just replace the glass which I thought was odd for an...um... Auto Glass place. Didn't enquire further after that so don't know how much it would've cost me in total if I'd gone ahead. I cannot comment on the quality of the service but am writing this review to alert potential customers that perhaps they are not one of cheapest in the Salt River area, which is the impression I got when reading the other reviews. Got a quote for R150 for the same job (parts and labour) just down the road.

After having your car broken into, taking it here will restore some of your faith in humanity. Always awesome friendly and helpful service. They fixed my rear passenger side window. Did a good job. Only one technician to do all the cars as others had been outsourced for the day on some other big job. Unprofessional big fight in front of customers with supplier who delivered incorrect glass. Area safe and central

I had to replace the quarter window of my car after it was broken into. I got a quote from a (dis)reputable national glass fitment centre of R2500 for the smallest window on my car. I phone these guys and spoke to Desmond who not only sourced the window when they didnt have stock but also gave me a quote for an 8th of the amount of the first quote. Further more are they extremely friendly and fitted the window in half an hour. Thank you for the great service!

Got fantastic service here today, Jerome and his team were amazing. As the Manager of the shop he replaced my daughters back window himself as his staff were busy on other jobs. He also charged us less than his initial quote and was just an allround superhero. Highly recommend their services.
