History buffs this is for you. What a wonderful story that shows the resilience and honor and horror of War. 11 Victoria crosses awarded and best to go with a tour guide. Thanks to Anthony Coleman for his amazing story telling. Goose bumps

An interesting historical site. There are toilets and a museum. There is supposed to be a self guided brochure at the reception but they didn't have any. The lady kindly lent us hers. The grounds were fairly well-maintained

Best use a guide to explain, but even if you don't there is plenty of info for a self-guided tour. Shop with some interesting creeds made by locals.

The museum a little bit dusty and old fashioned, the whole sight though is very evocative. An interesting talk by our guide.

Very well set up. Neat grounds, would be nice if there were maps for the self guided tour.

Went here with a guide from the Isandlwana Lodge who was excellent - Dalton. Have always wanted to come here since I was a small boy and first saw Zulu. It's not as dramatic as the movie but so glad I came

If you are interested then you will love it. But dated but great info and just like an older style museum. No special lights and things to talk at you

Those who seen the film Zulu will love this placeThis is the site of the actual battle.A museum has been built there , containing some exhibits relating to the battle. They are a little basic but are well worth seeing .Very moving place to visit especially if you are Welsh .Great sense of history there.Be warned! The road by which you are driven there is a real bone shaker!Toilet facilities available .After freezing at Isandlwana we were much in need of these.
