Generally had a good experience when I've visited the restaurant. Good tasty food, the sushi is good (not the best, but not bad either). Other food items on the menu are tasty though, so you should expect a good meal at good value. Got a good ambience and can be a romantic setting. Can get loud when the place is packed but otherwise it's pleasant. They sometimes have tech issues with their QR code payment system that's not intuitive and often gives an error so you'll end up paying with your card anyway. Waiters have been generally friendly.

Worst Lunch Experience Ever!!!!!!!Went for mother's day today. Food was awful. Honestly of the three different starters only one was nice. Mains again we're not great at all.Sam our waiter was amazing and that's where it ended, the management especially the male manager service and attitude was terrible, extremely defensive and unapproachable.Wouldnt recommend or go back to be honest.Cost over R1300 for three people lunch. They call it Garlic Aioli but it is just store bought cheap and nasty tangy Mayo with raw garlic stired through.

Beautiful sea view, relaxing child friendly atmosphere. Friendly staff, our server was Val beautiful personality. Food was quick and delicious during load shedding. Highly recommended

We were staying in Milnerton for few days and looked for a dinner spot. The Blowfish came up as one of the popular hits. These often turn to be tourist traps, but not this time! The place has wonderful set up ( make sure you ask for a table with the view) and lovely, attentive staff. The portions are VERY generous and food is simply tasty. None is trying too hard, they know what they are doing. Surely not the most sublime cuisine out there but you won’t be disappointed. Some of the starters and seafood platter were our favourite. Good selection of pretty much everything. Cheesecake was a bit too dry to my taste but I guess that’s up to preferences. Overall great place to visit for a nice relaxing dinner If you don’t want to spend too much. I highly recommend, you can’t go wrong with it. We went twice!

Beautiful location looking onto Table Mountain. The platter for one was very good and value for money, especially because it was the special for the day. The chocolate fondant was delicious but the cheesecake for dessert was a little dry.

We’ve been to the Blowfish Restaurant a few times and we’ve never been disappointed. However, last night we went to celebrate my husband’s birthday, just a small family dinner. I would just like to say that the staff was amazing! We have a 7 month old and those that have children will know that one parent ends up eating cold food, however, the Manager on duty (Unfortunately I forgot her name) offer to take our son for a moment while we could quickly eat our food and usually our son is hesitant with strangers but he was very willing to go to her and we were able to eat some of our meal while the Manager and the rest of the staff entertained him. He had an absolute ball charming all the staff in the restaurant. The food was amazing as usual and will definitely be back again soon. Truly a lovely experience. Thank you.

They have the most reasonably priced seafood platters I had in Cape Town and there was variety in the way the different elements were prepared. Everything was tasty and fresh and the atmosphere is great with such an amazing view. It's also quite a kid friendly place with great menu options for kids and they provide an activity to keep them busy. I would definitely recommend it for a romantic dinner to a family outing, it's the perfect occasion for all.

We went for dinner and the service wasn’t good at all. Once we sat down our waiters took around 10 min to come to our table with the menus, after serving our food she hasn’t come back even once to check if everything was okay and even worse she never came back to bring the bill. My husband had to go to the counter to get our bill after we waited forever. Food was also very bland, fish n’ chips didn’t have any taste and the fries weren’t crunch, calamari was good.

Food is nice. Beautiful view of the ocean and Table Mountain.I never miss the oyster and bubbly special.There's no generator though, so during load shedding you literally have your dinner in the dark... :-(
