Fish on the Rocks
Really good fish and chips. Known as 1 of the oldest spots in cape. Definitely the best in hout Bay Area. Nice location too, almost literally on the rocks. Really well priced. Crispy, tasty and fresh hake and chips.

This place used to be great many years ago. Now it's expensive and the quality of their food is not so great but edible. The view is absolutely breathtaking

Fish on the Rocks
Fresh fish cooked very tasty, snoek, hake and we also had beautifully prepared prawns. Nice sit down area, shaded from sun and possibly wind. Seals roam around and many seagulls outside the restaurant. I saw lots of security guards, not sure why. We visited during a quiet time in the evening. Sun kissed the mountain backdrop with beautiful golden colour. Take a warm jacket.

Fish on the Rocks
Located right by the ocean in Hout Bay, Fish on the Rocks is a seafood restaurant that never disappoints. One of the things I love about this place is how affordable their prices are, especially considering the quality of the dishes they serve up.But it's not just the delicious food that keeps me coming back. The location is unbeatable, with breathtaking ocean views that make every visit feel like a mini-vacation. And if you're lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of the seals that like to hang out nearby while you enjoy your meal on the rocks.Fish on the Rocks truly is a special place. The food is always fresh and flavorful, and the service is top-notch. Whether you're in the mood for their famous hake and chips, juicy prawns, or crispy calamari, you won't be disappointed. In case you're wondering about their opening and closing times, Fish on the Rocks is open daily from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM. They are ready to serve you whenever you're in the mood for some scrumptious seafood. So if you're looking for a great seafood restaurant with unbeatable views and affordable prices, look no further than Fish on the Rocks in Hout Bay. I can't recommend this place enough!

Fish on the Rocks
Always a pleasure to eat here. Although it was a very busy day, with a long queue, we were sitting at a table and had our lunch within 30 minutes.Very friendly staff, loved the atmosphere. Even toilet was clean. One suggestion: maybe have a cleaner or two on duty to clean tables immediately when people leave. Sweeping the floor will also add to get a 5 star grading.

Fish on the Rocks
Fresh fish and massive prawns. Well worth the money. R200 for hake and 6 king prawns with chips and tarter sauce. My friend ordered the hair and calamari with coleslaw and he enjoyed it.Seating is nice but not ideal when it rains. Half the tables were wet and water was just building up in the seating area and had to be swept out.Toilet is cleaned and renovated since the last time I was there.I would highly recommend it for the food

Fresh and delicious fish n chips, right on the harbour with great views over the bay. Be sure to go hungry to make the most of the generous portions! The hake and calamari combo was excellent!
